What you're doing is probobly the best thing you can possibly do for Blue. Keeping him active, following your vet's orders and showering with love and care, as always! It's so good to see you both on the web again. I kept the faith that Blu would have the right dr's and treatment. Speaking of that, was that the only one, the first treatment? You have the stomach for his meals, I can't say I've ever heard of those ingredients. But if it helps Blu, bring it on. Please keep us all up to date as much as possible, please! When I and Brandy went thru her cancer treatment it was once a week for seven weeks then a pause. Give Blu a hug for me and let him know there are lots of prayers going up for him. I am glad you are getting to do dream trip after all. I am also glad blue is doing better. Yes I understand he will occasionally feel really sick but for someone who has been diagnosed with stage 5 lymphoma cancer , he really is doing quiet well. Just be patient with him and he will be your traveling buddy for a long time to come

My dog has been dealing with cancer and tumors for almost 3 years. The hunger issues, diarrhea, vomiting is all normal with the meds. As long as he doesn't go more than a few days without eating he should be OK. Love you so much, so happy Blue is still hanging in there! Take care!!!

Makes me so happy to see you wuth Blue. We had to put our 9 year old GSD down about a year ago, totally out of nowhere. Had no idea he was even sick. Got the news in the ER that he likely wouldn't make it through the night and we couldn't stand to see him go through that. Miss him every minute. Hope you get much more time with Blue! Loved to see Blue running beside you! Good or bad, Blue would rather be with someone he loves, than be in a doggie hospital (no matter how nice it is). I put my last dog to sleep because she was in excruciating pain with hip degeneration. Our vet said she was inoperable and would never get better. She started coming to me for pain pills, after only 1/2 way thru an 8 hour pill. I refused to leave her while they gave her the shot. I'm a 73 year old Vietnam veteran who cried the whole time. It still breaks my heart! I know I will see her again.

I have seen a lot of your adventures. Just caught the one where you're in Alaska. When you mentioned what was going on with blue. My heart stunk. My niece has five dogs right now. Two of them had cancer. That was five years ago. They're still around and doing fine. By the way I have 132-lb Rottweiler which is named blue too. He is always with me. He's my best friend. Lol Dogs like blue are working dogs. they are trained to solve problems on the fly. So blue saw a problem. It was how to get to that food without getting detected and to wait for the opportunity to try pass or fail there was an attempt made. Lol 😄
