I'm a motorhomer and have been researching what we can do with a Cadac Safari Chef 2 beofre buying. stumbled across your channel and I love the style you present. Love Mrs T's giggling too. My thought is that you could expand your channel to show even more cookery. Mrs V wants to get an oven fitted to go full time, we don't have the money, or the need (in my mind) but the more recipes you can show us and the versatility of the Cadac - the better.

What a breath of fresh air, really well made video done with humour and extreme patience....... lol. We loved the giggling and side comments from Mrs T and thought the recipe looked delicious. This was definitely al fresco cooking a la the legendary Keith Floyd, bless him. Keep it up, we're looking forward to your next episode.

We have a Cadac Safari Chef 2 as well and we’ve never cooked a whole chicken. This looks delicious and potatoes look perfect. Will be subscribing to get more ideas. PS We did a 2 night camp earlier this month and had a venison fillet with a steak seasoning rubbed on it. We did herby buttered new potatoes and asparagus. Poshest meal we’ve cooked on it so far and it was amazing. Keep up the good work and I agree with Mrs T - need to have a Pimms or a G&T whilst preparing the food 🍹

Great video and thanks for showing how to cook a roast on the Carac. Can I ask if you parboiled the potatoes or cooked them freshly peeled? Thanks again.
@Tintenter4 жыл бұрын
Hi Patrick. Potatoes were good freshly peeled. Thanks for watching. Stay safe.

Hi, would you reccomend this safari chef over the larger carry chef? It's mainly just myself and my partner when we go away. I noticed that camping gaz do a similar one called the 400 I just wonder that the cadac has more accessories just worried it's not that big...

Try spatchcock chicken... just as easy, only much more even surface😉

Would it not just have been easier to go to M&S, at least 3 hours cooking and all that faffing about, life is too short for nonsense like that and frankly you ought to listen to your missus, she knew all along.
@primelens1002 жыл бұрын
Probably easier to just go to a restaurant, but it wouldn’t be the same, if you don’t want to ‘waste’ time cooking, why watch a video on how to cook on a Cadac. Nice video chaps and well presented, I’ve cooked on the Cadac for many years, but you have a new subscriber 👍
