You must think me rude M G , I actually replied to your lovely comment when I received it but my internet is patchy so I’m not sure that it went through. If you’re getting this twice, sincere apologies, I haven’t lost the plot but if not .... Take two lol. This dish was so delicious it’s hard to describe, the moistest, juiciest meat with crunchy crisp crackling my new toy does such an amazing job of everything I have cooked in it so far. Can’t wait to get back into my kitchen to continue creating. We will return from the USA in just over a week and it’s been amazing, trying so many different recipes and interesting meals. Gathering notes and ideas for our channel and I’m seriously having withdrawal symptoms from not being able to cook anything so expect an influx of extra new and exciting recipes from us upon our return. Thanks for watching.;-))

I didn’t but that’s quite alright. And thank you. So very glad you’re having a wonderful holiday. And I can’t wait to see all the lovely recipes ideas you’ve found on your travels. That sounds exciting. And I know what you mean about our new toy. It’s amazing. I cooked pork belly slices in mine the other day and they were the best ever and we ate them 2 nights in a row. Well I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday. Take care. Regards Mandi.

Thank you Mandi, glad you are having as much fun with your new appliance as we were. We’ve been away more than a month and I am determined to gather as many delicious and different recipes as possible. So many recipes so little time lol. Pork Belly yum, personally I don’t particularly like eating too much fat so I like to trim it a bit or buy leaner cuts where possible, I know fat is where the flavour is but it sometimes plays a bit of havoc with my digestion. You should’ve seen this Prime Rib dinner we had for dinner, Richo and I had to share it, the portions here are enormous. Lol. Loaded fries are definitely on my agenda when we get home.😋

cheekyricho cooking So excited to see your new recipes. And o you lucky things you. Prime rib, am super jealous, that must have been amazing. My parents told me of the very large portions when they went and they had to share also. My son and his fiancé are going to America in September and I’ve told them to wear very stretchy clothing after eating all that food haha. And yes I agree with the fat on pork. But brilliantly when pressure cooking the pork belly slices then air frying them it renders off a lot of the fat. So it can now be my once in a while guilty pleasure without me feeling quite so bad lol. And loaded fries yum 😋 Well take care both of you and safe journey home.

Thank you for the great feedback, your youngsters are going to have a ball here. So much to see and do. Lovely friendly people who seem to love Aussies. The scenery is beyond stunning and the roads are awesome, so far we have travelled over 2,000 miles (not metric here) and every day is a new adventure. Spent the day in Washington DC today visiting museums and national gallery. Huge day ready to fall into bed. They sure know how to cook meat here, even budget places are fantastic. Tomorrow’s another day and we are off to see the space shuttle. Thanks for the great comment. Hope you’re having a great week.;-))

Hi, just wondering if you poured out the liquid when you'd finished pressure cooking and before airfrying? Looks delicious.

Yes I did, sorry about the delay Rebecca, I just found your comment in my spam folder for some reason. I don't always remove the liquid, it does take a bit longer but I have found a quicker more effective result is obtained by removing the liquid. The pot is non stick so cleaning is no biggy. I store the 'stock' in. a jar in the fridge and when cold I remove the fat. I generally have enough delicious low fat stock to add to another recipe. No waste here. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.;-))

Thanks for replying, I've since made 3 following your method and they've been perfect! I did take the liquid out for the first 2 but left some in for the third, thought it might keep the meat that little bit more moist, couldn't tell a great deal of difference.

I find the same result Rebecca, it has an outstanding non stick surface but I do find it a bit easier to clean if a little liquid is left. I’m glad you are enjoying using these recipes, I can’t wait to share lots more with you. Thank you for your very helpful feedback and for watching.;-))

Hi how do you get the air fryer section clean after the port exploded for 20 minutes thanks

Thanks for the question. I don’t pull the grill apart with a tool, I wouldn’t want to void my warranty. After cooking, whilst it’s still warm I wipe the grill and rim with a damp cloth that won’t melt. Most spatter wipes away anything that has past the grill generally burns off next time it’s eluded. It can’t be much because there is never any smoke or smell, no food odour transfer either. My Foodi has never set off my smoke alarm or contributed to greasy smoke or steam in my kitchen. I never cook Pork or roasts in my oven because it is such a major to clean and it’s a Pyrolytic oven which has a self cleaning function. I use my Foodi most days and often several times each day. It’s never seen the inside of a cupboard and even though the grill covering the element no longer looks new it’s constant use has never interfered with its function. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.;-))
