Today, I am sharing with you my mother-in-law’s Roasted Poha Chivda recipe! Her chivda is the best. Not only is the recipe very easy, but its fail-proof and gets done in no time
Herer are the Ingredients and the Quantities
1/3rd - 1/2 cup oil
10 Cups thin Pohe (Poha)
1.5 cups raw peanuts (I’ve used de-husked peanuts)
1 cup Dried Coconut Slices (or slices from one dried coconut head)
1 cup Roasted Dalia (Daala)
1/2 Cashews
1/2 Golden-green raisins
Masala
1/2-1 tsp Mustards Seeds (whole, black)
1/2 -1 tsp Cumin Seeds
6-8 Chopped Green Chilies
20-25 Curry Leaves (or curry leaves from 2 large sprigs)
1/2 tsp Hing
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
6 tbsp (1/3rd Cup) Powdered Sugar (or at least 1-2 tbsp)
