This reminds me of one of the weirdest/most wholesome mornings of my life. I did way too much ecstasy and partied heavily into the night one Saturday night. I met some chill dude who said I could crash at his place, so I did. I have some vague memory of walking like 3 miles through downtown at 3a.m. and then going into this side door of some house I couldn't see because the moon wasn't out. No idea where I am. He slept in his bed and I passed out on the floor with a blanket or whatever. Wake up, Sunday morning, massively hungover, and he says his parents are cooking Sunday breakfast and to come and eat. I'm confused because this dude still lives at his parent's, but he's totally chill and has a super sick, massive room. Fuck it. I walk into this beautiful kitchen that smells incredible. His mom's cooking this luxurious brunch and his dad firmly shakes my hand and says "Hi, nice you meet you." and shit, and then I look over and I realize I'm in the most immaculate French-style house and there's a giant table of food with 3 blonde sisters sitting at it who are ages 18-early 20's and going to college nearby. I'm so fucking hungover and dehydrated. Maybe still high. I don't know. The parents sit down at the table and we all pray. Just a short prayer. Then they literally break homemade bread and pass around this delicious soup to dip it in along with all these other foods. I sit there and listen to how these beautiful chicks are doing in school. I look over at my new friend like "Dude, what in the actual fuck is happening right now?" and he just laughs. We converse and have this amazing meal that I thank them for and "nice meeting you" and all that... the whole thing was so wholesome and surreal. After we ate, I told him I better be on my way, even though I had no clue where I was - I'd figure it out. I get his number and then I walk outside and I'm this mildly sketchy part of town with all these grey houses, except this _ONE_ beautiful mansion straight out of a fairytale. Then I oriented myself and walked the 5 miles or whatever back to my place. I honestly wouldn't believe that morning actually happened, but we kept in touch and are still friends. The family was strangely perfect. I'ma find out if that's him.
