That was really cool stream! I loved the energy. Interaction with chat combined with reviewing and playing other games and dynamics between two of you. It had really great, welcoming, joyful vibes. Hope to catch you again other day! I also love how you guys are down to the ground instead of having inflated ego and while making tier list for other's games you also were harsh when judging where you would put your own game. Ego delays or even stops you from improving. I realized it quite a bit time ago and it greatly improved my professionalism and attitude. It's hard to deal with other people where you can't give your honest opinion though so while you might not have it, it's also important to remember than other's do. I really prefer to program rather than deal with drama xd.

If I were to make a tier list of the Bite Me content this would definitely be S. It's basically tier list heaven 🙌Thanks guys, keep up the amazing work and do more of these, it's awesome ❤

I enjoyed the Livestream and in my honest opinion I would just say turn the games into mobile versions and bombard with ads😆

I feel you guys were a little too hard on Hard Chip. I can say personally, as someone who has zero functional computer engineering or programing experience of any kind, it was by far the most interesting looking game here to me, and the one I am personally most interested in playing. I think it should lean into the puzzle genre and start with a beginning chapter of puzzles that are even easier with simplified logic to ease people into the mechanics a little more slowly. Basically a set of levels with no gates and not more than two lines. A set that adds 3D to get used to editing in different levels. And then a set that adds a little more complexity and gates. A very slow on-ramp, and anything that can be simplified should be simplified early on. Like, even a level just explaining the concepts of 1 and 0 level-of-simple. I’d also make more clear which points are which letter, as the text is small and not always present for some reason. There are communities of people that enjoy difficult puzzles, spacial and logic puzzles, and might be interested in this kind of thing. And a subset of Minecraft, Factorio, Kerbal Space Program, and automation/builder game communities might be interested in this. Leaning into that along with an educational angle might be a decent way to go. The one thing this game does not have though is some kind of ‘character appeal.’ Kerbal Space Program for instance is similarly difficult and highly technical, but it also has titular cartoon characters that give a softer edge to the presentation. Some kind of element like that might be helpful, though there is a kind of aesthetic abstract coldness that has it’s own appeal too, just not as large. I still think it’s a tough sell, but I also think there are people out there that would immediately understand the appeal.

this is great, i've worked in trades over 20 years. now turned indi dev/studen (its like the worlds aligned or something) anyway. one thing ive learned. YOU CANT PAY FOR CRITICAL FEEDBACK! OR (NEGATIVE / FEEDBACK) most of my clients are "oh thats nice , or looks great, thanks how can you improve. =)

"The black king has stolen your wife" xDD actually sounds like an amazing narrative for the game

It's insane how cool the game dev game is (like has rlly cool features that are clearly not needed but they are cool) and how much my head hurts cuz UI and text walls.

Nahhh Cards of Divinity actually looked great. Good looking game + good looking Steam page. Easy A tier for me, possibly even S.

SAADEX is an A+. it needs a lore + narrative; it lacks personality, despite having so much of it in its design. and so much of the screen is empty space, at an 8-bit monster to represent the bad guys coming out of the storm, or flash cards inbetween the level, just to create a lore. then it'll be S. and this could revive the TD genre. this could be the next big thing.

Broad Sword has S potential, could be a totally runaway success, just gotta make the gameplay click right and the graphics/art/story better.

Hi, thanks for the videos. Should we make Epic Store page too ?
@LeslieZA10 ай бұрын
Depends on how much your game is selling on Steam and Itchio currently and whether you think it is worth the effort to add EGS achievements (requirement if you have Steam achivements) and setting up the store page. Here is comparion from one of my games (unit sold), Itch: 6, EGS: 178, Steam: 2494

Cards of divinity could easily be S tier ngl. I mean the fun thing about roguelikes and deckbuilding games is the amount of different cards and combos and polaystyles and adapt to whatever there is etc. not really a story, and the game feels right now as deep as an inflatable pool that costs 10 euros, but the game genre and many things already in place and the fact that he can just use public famous art etc. makes it not as hard to develp something that can achieve S tier. I don't know how much time did they spend on the game by now and when do they plan to release it, but I think it's the game with more potential by far (so far). 15 euros price tag + 9 more months in the oven and it's a banger for sure. Btw first game from the list i'm adding to wishlists. Hope they prove you wrong (and me right) on the ranking you gave them. However, currently it's a B- for me

Trace hunters feels like someone downloaded unreal, used the basic car project template and abused megascans. Also, I think he chose a really difficult genre to both market and develop (making a driving game + shooter is a challenge since good driving games require too much work on physics and the controls of the driving part and the shooter part will make it feel akward if not done properly, and on top of that nobody is interested in those games, except if they are multiplayer, which is an extra challenge since you gotta develop the multiplayer and ideally balance it aswell for pvp, also why does the car flip so often like if thats the typical toy remote controlled car sure but if its a real car it should feel like it weights 2500kg like basically the average militar car similar to the model, and those cars don't flip so often + it would make the game feel better since you don't need to reset position so often or at all...) visually its good, UI included. For me it's a D but unlike other games in the D, I can't see the potential in this.

Honestly, when I first saw saadex I was like "wtf is that" and I wouldn't buy it, but now that I know what is it about etc. I wouldn't mind spending 10 euros on it if the game is good enough on release (cuz you know, right now lacks a bit of content and curation). It's legit what you said; hard to market, but has potential. B tier, for me.
@DemoniumSama11 ай бұрын
Broad Sword is like cool idea but no. If you tell me this is the prototype I can imagine a world in which this becomes a B tier, but currently it looks like a D to me
