Let's not forget the FB, FC & FD RX-7, Mazda B2000/B2200, MR-2 (first & second gen), Miata's (awl errum) and SC300/400's. I'm in Florida and you can't find ANY of these for less than 8k in "Good" condition with a clean title! @@user-rw4bn5it7m an education?? I'm assuming you have a LS1 cause if it's a LT1 that has 275hp from factory then your the real🤡 that being said from factory the LS1 z28 comes with 305-310hp. The LS3 comes with 426hp. It doesn't take rocket science to know the motor with more displacement will have more HP stock or modified. From experience I was going to get a 4th gen SS but seeing the prices I got a 5th gen 2ss LS3 manual 6 speed for 15k and I couldn't be happier it's an upgrade from the 4th gen. I drove a 4th gen V6 which is why I wanted the 4th gen SS. But esthetics and performance the 5th gen is better.

I worked at a rental car company and every one of those gen Impalas had the worst brakes ever. The first time I drove one, I thought it was going to keep going into the car wash, pedal near the floor. I was prepared for the next time I got one; "Aieght... I need to start braking about 90ft before the stations at 15mph". Got one from storage with 4 miles on it, it GOTTA have better brakes... nope. I would never own one. Maybe the SS stops better, but I don't trust them. It's bad enough they're fwd, but getting outbraked by a bus is just a hard no.
