My favorites: Love Markus and his channel…never gave in to the masses and his channel looks as good or better than most. Small and often older cameras or camcorders do the job…unless you are off filming for Netflix. And he doesn’t use his OP3! Peta Pixel and MFT love! Great! Really like Alaska’s Jake Sloan; some great action cam work/reviews and most Sony’s (except for the 6700 as its IBIS not up to,speed), Robin Wong largely for his energy and some great passion on MFT, Mark Bennett and also Film Alliance; both offer good tech, but Mark is funny (well he is a stand up comedian) and FA is so creative. Your channel is key too… funny, sometimes great tech, and often creative…plus I love 🐿️. Must not forget CameraLabs Gordon Laing…first because he is very fair and not a fan boy of any all new cameras like many channels are. Just honest plus he writes his reviews down on his website so you can read the review very quickly if you prefer.

We also need him to do videos that aren't sponsored by "company that gave me free stuff instead of money." It makes me sad to see what Gerald came from and where he is now just peddling products like so many other KZbin channels. Great topic, I've stopped watching a lot of camera channels I used to watch because it's obvious they find it boring to make these videos themselves: philip bloom, gerald undone, kai among others. Instead, I watch people who are really having fun like Posy, not a camera channel but beautiful cinematic, geeky content with deep passion.
@orangejjay8 ай бұрын
The problem with the ones you mentioned is that they have a problem with peddling stuff from whatever company is giving them free stuff and then pretending it's somehow different from a sponsorship. Who's ever seen Posy make a video about Aputure lights that's totally not sponsored but is totally made using the $3000 worth of free gear that he's putting on eBay after this video is uploaded? Oh. We haven't. Because he actually makes creative videos instead of just making brand content. 🤡

Zenography is a good, eccentric channel. It's about putting mostly cheap vintage lenses on mirrorless modern bodies. So he reviews some old East German lens or classic Pentax 1.4 lens on a Sony body for example. He's a good photographer and tries to include similar or the same shots in each review, so you can for example see if the pattern of distortions and weird artifacts when shooting through leaves against the light is pleasing or not.
