He employs adults, many with families and scoffs at the idea that any of them would own a home with what he pays them. All those employees that he doesn't pay enough to own a home aren't able to build the home he himself has no problem talking about and even having those employees help him fix and work on. All those people aren't building equity while he is. That comment honestly bothered the ever loving shit out of me. Linus- Either pay them enough to live with the same dignity you seem to hold for yourself or stop pretending to have a successful and viable business. You don't get both.

Nah I think for most the main reason to rotate is because of wrist-wear. The bottom gets rough after repeated use, so you rotate to get a 'new' & smooth bottom again for your wrist to rest on. You can see it most clearly on the last rotated mousepad, the original bottom (now the left) is clearly more worn than the new bottom.

same, it's so weird to be as hostile as them about mousepads of all things, considering that there are many different ways that people feel comfortable using a mouse. Mine's 'vertical' but it's solid black so there is no 'up' to it. I have a high DPI and a small desk. I also don't move side to side often, but like you I do sometime lean forward when gaming - and sometimes I lean back more for watching videos. That extra vertically of my pad makes it so I don't have to adjust it's position all the time.

Honeycomb structure inside is supposed to make it stronger but the pressure on small area of the monitor arm makes the whole table seem like cardboard (which it basically is - glorified cardboard sold as table). So basically I put a monitor arm on it and got a giant hole on the back of the desk. I might reuse the legs and get a new table top. Made of proper solid wood this time.

15:05 I also had a monitor that did that a while ago, no idea what causes it but it did it every time it was turned on and the longer it was turned off the longer it took to return to normal, but it did always stop the weird lines thing eventually, if it was just overnight it would only take a minute to go back to normal (I've since replaced it) It only happened when plugged in via DisplayPort, HDMI was completely fine no matter how long it was off

Those suspended acoustic panels are SWEET, that's genius in SO MANY WAYS, from a performance standpoint GENIUS because spacing panels from the wall improves their effectiveness, from a smart and easy mounting standpoint GENIUS...
