I just downloaded and started playing with ROAT OSC - I can’t get over all of these oscillators coming out of my NTS-1 ! You’ve just given so much more to this synth, looking forward to recording this synced to a Kastle this week🎵

Would love to try all these lovely oscillators but I’ve been unsuccessful in uploading them to my NTS. Keeps saying unable to connect, changed midi preference priority in the drivers etc but still no luck. So frustrating 😢

Sorry I can't help you there. I know a lot of people have problems, and there are many solutions possible. Try using a different USB cable, if you haven't already. Also, check the facebook groups NTS-1, there are at least 2.

Had this struggle the other day. It was a combination of bad usb cables (even though they powered from the computer, nts still was not recognized.), mixed with too many midi usb devices. With the drivers and downloads korg included a midi driver uninstall utility which will let you clear the other devices. The NTS must be in the first 10 slots for the library to recognize it.

Had this issue but it was resolved by closing application which used MIDI

Hi @freejazzbone. Unfortunately it won't work as is, the platform is not exactly the same. I'm still not sure what's the amount of work necessary to convert it to the drumlogue platform. Must check it out when time permits.

Yes, as long as you use mono mode. In other modes results are unpredictable, but possibly chaotically fun 😉

I don't know much about synths but am looking for a not too expensive sequencer that can play any scale, any sequence of the 12 notes and play it in any time signature (let's say 16 or less, so 9/8, 5/4, 11/4, this type of thing) what do you recommend for doing this? Also taking it a step further do polyrhythms but would be satisfied at the moment just being able to do the previous

@Sat12 if you're looking for a sequencer only, take a look at the Oxi One, I have one, didn't explore it much yet, but it will be my next endeavour. Since I bought it, it had so many firmware updates with new features. It does basically everything you said and much more. But it's just a sequencer, doesn't do sounds, you'll have to connect to synths or to a computer with a DAW and plugins. If you want a cheap synth with sequencer than it's definitly the Korg Volca range. Maybe the Volca FM 2 is the more versatile in terms of sequencer: allows pattern chaining and is 6 voice polyphonic. But than you can add other Volcas as time and money allow, and they all let you skip steps, so you'll get your polyrythms by combining different volcas with different signatures.
