Hi friend! you receive a property deed and yes you will have to pay land taxes every year. The amount of taxes you pay depends on the size of the property. Not sure what you mean about how you would make sure you keep it...you can email me to [e-mail]

I have been in Belize for almost a year in order to qualify for residency and STILL did not make it to Honduras!
