The way Rob acted vs the track hawk guy, is the reason we all love Rob Dahm so much, just a genuine guy just doing racecar stuff no excuses no whiney attitude. Imagine buying a showroom fast car, doing practically the minimum upgrades of wheels tires springs and air filter delete…and then whining about fair race parameters like starting at the same time and going less than a quarter mile. Don’t you know the the car you’re racing is a hand built, multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless hours of customizing. You are not here to win buddy you’re here so we can see Rob’s car.

The car is already a monster and he is still aiming to lose a lot of weight and add a bunch of power to it. With the carbon body, new frame and larger turbo it will be insane.

@TheHoonigans
@TheHoonigans Жыл бұрын
From now on if you don’t show us a Dyno sheet, you get “claimed.” Because a lot of people are either exaggerating or sandbagging. That said, this thing seemed like a true 850hp

@@TheHoonigans agreed. The "CLAIMED" part caught me so off guard, it was hilarious. It was also, to me at least, a call back to a particular guy who "CLAIMS" certain things about his rides, only to blow everyone away. "Stock", my exhaust port.😏

Struggling with being a Rob Dahm hater because I like his car, but he makes it so easy. “My front drive shaft is stripped out/ slipping so I’m basically just rwd/ running on 2 wheels” well I didn’t notice traction issues so was it really just powering the rear wheels and if so what’s the need for awd. I know he didn’t automatically figure how to pedal it and if traction control activated it would have been a different race than the other 2. He would have been gapped and had to chase down the track hawk on the big end

Everytime I see the interior of Rob's car I have a bit of a panic attack at all the moving parts just waiting to explode with 1,000+hp and AWD and nothing but his firesuit to protect him.

This is such a cool moment to see!! Love to finally see your 4 rotor coming to life and get dialed in, amazing work! I will say on the 2nd race it wasn't really the guy burning rob dahm down, kinda seemed like the flagger didn't know how to correctly handle the situation, he made it super confusing. But just have a quick briefing with the flaggers on proper ways to setup a race and that'll be an easy fix! This series is gonna be so damn amazing :D

Yeah but that’s nothing for that car, first run he walked it, 2nd run he broke it, and 3rd run was a handicap. He even said on that handicap run, if it was still set to 700 Itd been close. He literally had that car turned all the way down that first run… that car is capable of 1300+. 😂 He was at maybe half power, and if you watch his series he fixed that driveshaft.

Gymkhana 7 is probably one of the most important events in modern car culture. So many great builders and racers were immediately inspired by it to do equally unimaginable things. Getting to see its influential come back full circle to Hoonigan through other builds is badass. RIP Block.
