As a former radio personality for 36 years, I had burned out on the entire industry, was kind of bitter and decided to step away, retire and move. Then one morning I turned the radio back on and heard Rob & Lizz. Wow! Not only professional, but something about them had me hooked, and actually became a loyal listener! Thanks Rob for bringing me back! You'll truly be missed. Until we meet in the Lord's House friend, rest well.

I am a listener of the morning show with Rob and Liz and was so saddened to hear of his passing. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his home and work families and friends. I understand the grief of losing someone so suddenly but I hold on to the truth that we will all be together again in His heavenly kingdom. May God hold you close and cover you with comfort and peace as you travel through this most difficult time and loss.

I feel like Rob, along with my Dad who we lost last year, are going to be vital in preparation for the coming back of Christ. Their lives were so impactful here on earth for the Kingdom, God needed them in heaven to get ready for His return. I believe that with my whole heart. I cried like a baby just now watching this, but was joyful for all the good Rob did. I had to save this funeral so I can watch over. He truly affected my life. His death and this service have helped me today. I am making changes in my life so I can follow Jesus more faithfully. Rob still works in our lives. Please keep speaking of him and sharing his life. Rob shined the light for his Lord and Savior. FYI -I was/am a His Radio listener.

Rob was so genuine.. I am grateful to the Dempsey family for allowing me to attend the service this morning. My most sincere condolences to the family.. he helped me to dig deep and set a life goal by competing and winning Robs Big Losers in 2016 I went on to lose over 127 pounds and couldn’t have done it without you Rob! For all your encouragement and positivity. I love you brother and will see you again…😭😭❤

Me and my husband cried so hard even though I’ve never met him, we listened to his voice every morning and just as he did the morning prayer at 6:30 I went into work thinking if that prayer. God took his angel home. I’m sure gonna miss him but his legacy goes on, praying for comfort for his beautiful family, until y’all meet again ❤️❤️❤️

I love Rob’s stories. Thank you Amy for allowing us to share the life of Rob. I didn’t know Rob at all. I simply turned the radio station to 100.9 FM. I was so moved by his love and laughter. Thank you Liz for sharing the stories. What a beautiful man! I didn’t know him but it seems like everyone knew him. Thank you for showing me that children are tough on us Moms but God is the Father and I am not alone.

As I turned on the radio to the only station I have listened tofor about last 12 years on and was hearing about Rob it was all I could do to fight the tears to drive to work. I just can't imagine the station without Rob. My prayers of strength to his family. ❤

I’m from the Caribbean my English is not good but I used to listen Rob and Liz every morning on my way to work sometimes I was even late to work listening to them. When I heard the news I was in so much pain even though that I lost my son 18 years ago and after his death I became a little tough and Rob death got me crying again. My condolences to his family specially his wife. But remember we are going to see them again and we will be rejoicing with the Lord.

He was such an encourager and I can remember when I had reached out to him privately about 6 years ago extremely low and he helped to bring me back up. Good morning, its 7:29 am. My heart is broken for the loss of ROB. I have been listening to him since 2006. Toccoa falls Radio was what I used to listen to. Then, His Radio took over Toccoa Falls Radio. My Heart goes out to his wife, kids, & grandkids. What a great guy he was & we miss you so much, already. God called him home.
