@@miraclen5457 How can you hate Johnny & Darry!?! First Johnny is the best person ever. He's sweet & sensitive. Second Darry put off his own life, after their parents died, to raise his 2 brothers. He just wants what is best for his brothers & he knew that Ponyboy was smart & if he slacked off, he wasn't going to be, what he could. Also, Johnny is abused by both of his parents. He only has the gang & died saving children!!!!

I was also one of those 13 year olds. We read the book, then watched the movie, and I had the hugest crush on Soda Pop (not realizing it was Rob Lowe until way later). Such an incredible story all around.

I love everything Rob Lowe has ever done. Every character he plays he truly makes it his own. What About Last Night and St. Elmo’s Fire are among my favorite movies and The Outsiders still blows my mind today, many years after seeing it when it first came out at 16 years old. He only gets better looking as each year passes!

I mean, Ron Swanson is an extreme version of Nick Offerman...
@Agoodwalkspoiled5 жыл бұрын
I think that statement applies deeply to Offerman and Pratt.
@aaronliu99455 жыл бұрын
I think Offerman himself has stated that Ron Swanson is partially inspired by an over-exaggerated version of himself but that he is definitely not the same person irl as the character
@najeebsiddiqui67965 жыл бұрын
Aaron Liu Offerman talks in the same way in his interviews like he does on the show, so does Pratt, you can see that in guardians of the galaxy and Jurassic world. I agree that they are not 100% alike but they are close. The other characters were too hyper and any other character can play that but these two were themselves on the show.
@aaronliu99455 жыл бұрын
@@najeebsiddiqui6796 I mean, sure, but there is more to a person than their voice. A lot of Ron Swanson's personality, world views, preferences, w/e, are not shared by Nick Offerman, (yes, I know SOME are shared by him because he is partial inspiration). Superficially they may seem like the same person but looking past the shallow stuff, they're pretty different. Take the most fundamental and visible aspect of Ron Swanson's character: his dedicated libertarian views. They form the basis for his character, motivate most of his actions and decisions, and is the catalyst for most of his overall story arc. And they're not shared by Nick Offerman.
