1. Schoolboy Father 2. Matter of Time (I watched very little) 3. The Outsiders 4. Class 5. Thursday's Child (I watched some of the movie) 6. Oxford Blues 7. St Elmo's Fire (some clips) 8. Hotel of New Hampshire (I watched some of the movie) 9. About Last Night (some clips) There's too many to name. Plus that first tv show Rob did A New Kind of Family I would've liked it if I had seen it as well as the other show called Mean Jeans? that never aired on Tv.

So glad he talked about the cut scenes from the Outsiders!! After seeing the full cut I was low key enraged by what was left behind in the original- so much more of that affection and care between the boys he was taking about. Also a way better soundtrack lol

Great interview. I served Rob many Kamikaze shots and Coronas in the late 80s when I was a bartender at the Hard Rock in LA. Great memories.

I have been a Rob Lowe fangirl since the 1980s. Hollywood messed up by not showing us more of him. His charm, and personality/humbleness is like no one else. I swear the creators of "The Outsiders" must have cast from the middle school he and Downey Jr were at. The 80s were so awesome. Rob's podcast with Downey Jr is so good. They are both actors that I will watch something just because they are in it. Cannot say that for many especially these days.

His ancestor fought against George Washington crazy story was captured and had the choice to stay in America. So incredibly interesting. I swear this man has an incredible history. The most interesting actor out there.

I remember in Rob’s book, he wrote that he used to order girls like they were in a catalog. Anyone he wanted, he would pursue no matter what, I always thought that was a bit sleazy and bizarre. 🤔
@katherineplackett5600 Жыл бұрын
Well he does admit to being that “bad boy” and had to work his way out of it. People grow and change. That’s kind of what this whole podcast is about.

@@katherineplackett5600 I guess that’s true. I just hate that women and girls have to be collateral damage for mens journeys’ out of being narcissistic, sleazy and cruel ass-clowns. 🤦🏼♀️

Woof. Healthy reminder that false modesty and “kindness” on the surface is what’s currently socially acceptable, but this facade of niceness is not necessarily a true reflection of how someone even as charming/charismatic as Rob Lowe actually thinks/behaves IRL.
