“Let’s sit in the pain” needs to be said by more parents to their children who are hurting inside. More kids need more compassion out of their parents
@MindfulMya Жыл бұрын
Definitely needed. Parents rush the hurt part but seeing and being in the pain is worth it because of what happens after.

Nava turning red and full of laughter at the beginning is just great, lol. Way too precious! Matthew McConaughey is so well spoken and thoughtful and I would love to carry that with me as a human speaking to younger ones moving forward. What a delightful episode!

He's so humble and down to earth. I just love how relatable he is despite his success.

Nava was such the “smitten kitten” twirling her hair throughout! 😂 I don’t blame you girl…😊 Matthew is a totally captivating storyteller (aka “bullshitter”)! So much so that he distracted me from my crush on Penn!😂😂❤

Who else immediately thought 'Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuullshiiiiiit' when he was taking about liars and bullshitters 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 for anyone wondering it's from 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' This was such a lovely conversation, I could sit and listen to Him for ages, his accent is 👌👌👌

Watching Penn fanboy over Matthew McConaughey at the start knowing he didnt know who Penn was, was really wholesome.

I'm a native Texan, and I really enjoyed hearing about Matthew's upbringing. He is so loved here in Austin it's ridiculous. Natural born storyteller, this one. And... I'm also sitting here stairing at my big, tub of "True Texas BBQ sliced Pickles" lol

Yeah I go to UT Austin and i know some students who switched to communications just to be in a class with him. The thing is, he barely taught any of the courses! 😭

I'm from England and to Me He is what You guys would call a 'Good Southern Boy'!!! Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but that is what he reminds me of from what I've seen from TV Shows & movies 💛
@goddess117A Жыл бұрын
@@emz_xo absolutely. I don’t group Texas in the Deep South. It’s more so the “Wild West” or southwest for me. But the archetype of that strong, bold, and calm gentleman still exists. It really stands out in an era where masculinity has been severely diluted. As a woman, I would feel safe having Matt around.

I was watching a documentary about Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski. I am learning to be a Healer and I'm definitely and intuitive. So I was looking at this picture of them when they just got married and he was 9 years older than her. In that picture with her sweet big smile and the flowers in her hair, you could just tell that she was less experienced and less aware of herself fully. Like you can tell that his ego is being fed from this relationship and it's not necessarily rooted in love at that time. A woman dating a man 9 years older when the woman is known for being sweet, kind, and acting a certain way... I just feel like most adults can imagine or intuitively feel into how we know this story, we've seen it or lived through it. That picture was just spooky confirmation. I know it was a time where women were more suppressed than they are now but he obviously knew that he was marrying someone who had yet to claim their power fully as a person.

🤔 Remember when the character Chuck Bass on the original Gossip Girl series referred to the character Carter Baizen on the show as our boy Matthew here? Remember when Carter Baizen returned to Manhattan and started hanging out with the character Nate Archibald, was telling Nate how great minimalism is, et cetera, and Chuck was like, oh please. Chuck said Carter looked like Matthew in between movies.

She is fabulous and we know you have friends. :). I call that process sit in the ick… oh your Mamma gave you the confidence! Daddy too. But, yeah I see it now. @MatthewMcConaughey.Official oh my Goodness Mathew!!! Thank you!!! Negative energy? Never. I appreciate you and trying to bring the world peace. I see you in the middle trying to work out the conflicts of this world and honestly, you’re capable of it. You are in your alpha season right now and I see your character doing what it’s always done stared fear in the face in the eye of the on coming tornado and running straight at it. You’re a titan Mathew but it’s because you stand with and for those who have smaller voices than you do. Thank you for the reply, my sister is going to lose it and thank you for fighting the good fight and always looking for the light. I see you man. I see you.
