when you have a coach who is known for seeming to be able to read the minds of the opposing coaches and quarterbacks, the fact that he got caught filming play calls puts serious doubt into how legitimate some of those wins are. In a recent interview on the Pat Mcafee show, Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy mentioned how sometimes Bill Bellicheck will have decoded some of the opposing team's signals before the game. Given how the Patriots like to hire poor and ambitious people to work for them, it is not a stretch to imagine that they might still be filming people's calls.

2:52 Spygatw was a minor rules infraction that only ever happened in week one of the 2007 season. The rules don’t prevent video taping. They only specify you have to be in a both. Also Belichick is the only person to be fined half a million dollars because the league has the right to institute it’s own justice system regardless if it is fair or not. Spygate was the NFL using their authority to artificially enforcing parity. And Deflategate is extremely cherrypicked, and frankly stupid.

Bill Belichick is both a great coach and a cheater. He goes into both categories. It's undisputed that he's a massively successful coach that gets results i.e. championships and Super Bowls.
