Whitney was a tremendous singer, but she never wrote any songs or music. Rob does all three. But even for such an incredible musician there are way more songs “nobody” has heard of then the dozen or so popular songs he wrote, sang or performed. I like to do a deep dive once in a while and find those hidden gems deep on the B side.

ala2121 Interesting question! For me, I cannot compare them. Yes, Whitney has more range; and she’s closer to “perfection”on her best days; but that doesn’t necessarily make her a better artist than Toni. Toni is also a writer and instrumentalist. I adore both ladies for different reasons, and my mood usually determines who makes it into my playlist on any given day. As I get older, I love the fact that most things are subjective and debatable. It broadens the number of things that I can enjoy. I hope this message finds you healthy and in good spirits. 💞

You know what I have to say I actually love this. It had a male masculine twist to it and it was perfect. It even had country music tones to it. It's extremely hard if not impossible for anybody to sing anything that Whitney Houston has done before and put her stamp on it, However in this case he did not try to recreate Whitney Houston he took the song from a man's point of view and I respect that.👍👏👌
