This song played in my head when my mother picked me up for the last time from public school, as a eight year old girl. She decided to homeschool me. I'd come home and lie in bed because I was bullied and depressed. I take medication and live by myself. I miss her so much. Shes still alive but I miss living with her. Time flies. Cherish it.

I was in the audience of Letterman when this was filmed. It was awesome! The best part of the show that evening. Everyone on the Letterman staff is great to the guests!

Not sure I've ever watched a drummer hit the skins as hard as this dude (2:42) and a base player totally in the groove! Good, tight band!

I commented on this at the time it was taped. I was in the audience that evening. It was awesome! The best part of the show. David Letterman's staff is great. They treat the audience with respect and I had a great time. I would love to go back for a taping again.

I am not really a fan of Rob Thomas, but this is great songwriting through and through. Great melody, great vocals, great backing band and backing vox. I have been involved with music for over 13 years, performing, writing, DJing, sound tech etc., and this is a beautiful song. Top work...this is text book 3-4 minute pop writing, take your notes kids. :-)

His bass player is fucking legit. If you took the bass line out of this song it would not have the presence that it does, I guess that goes for pretty much any song, but he really does an amazing job

This song is revolutionary!! Someday has come!! We have figured all this out... You see how lettermen was so nervous and quick to end the show... Because this song is extremely powerful when you figure out who the enemy is... The common denominator... ✡️🕎🇮🇱🌈
