Everytime the song 3am started, you’d hear that intro guitar and he’d look at me and say “my boy” regardless of the song, he made it clear that it was his song. In 2014, my mom went to a Rob Thomas concert. This was when she lived in a townhouse and couldn't afford much. She also got a VIP picture with Rob. Now every year on Jan 22, she goes to a concert of his in Atlantic City. My dream is to go to a concert with her and my stepdad in 2018. I was lucky enough to be an extra in this, back in August 2009 in NYC. I am one of the parade marchers with a sign. I have been an extra on a lot of film and TV sets over the last 12 years but this is easily the set where everyone was nice and actually lived the message we sang. Rob Thomas is a great guy as well as talented. How happy we are really shows through.

I’m still in shock thinking about my birthday that fine September 10th when he started filming this video.. I was across the street and I shouted out “Rob! My sister and I LOVE your music 🎶 and inspiration you give to so many !!” He actually halted the production and came across the street and thanked me and asked ME questions!! I couldn’t believe how awesome that was to do.. I didn’t know what he was doing except he was making some new video. I lost it. And two months later I saw this profound video.. and lost it again. Thanks again Rob!! You are truly awesome!! ❤️

I just listened to this song in my car. This dude has been making bad ass songs since the mid 90’s... matchbox 20 was so awesome and then he topped it with something to be! That album is still my favorite. Every damn song was so good. 48 years old and still going strong! Chipped tooth smile was pretty good too! I LOVE IT!
