I like the way rob says the NEC is like an airport, well if you keep walking you do end up in the Birmingham international airport terminal as it’s all connected including the railway station which is connected by a mono rail type transporter, but I’m pretty sure you can get to the station on foot from the NEC

We went on the Wednesday. It was quieter. Still having to wait to get in the vans. Some great vans but prices out of reach for us only having a tent and wanting to upgrade to a van. We videoed loads of vans and motorhomes if you fancy looking at them on KZbin. We are a family of 4.. 2 adults 2 kids

My youngest son lived a short walk from that miners roundabout in Rugeley so know it well. The old Plaza cinema you would have passed just before the island was (and I think still is) a Weatherspoons. Had a really good meal in there. Hope you had an enjoyable weekend,

We went Saturday got there around opening time and was packed out! We didn't have any problems on the M6! we got to look round quite a few Van even a Caravan! Not impressed by some Wetroom designs over Wheel arches and Toilet Pedestals too high! WE had a good look round though and back on the road at about 1730. Of course it was pouring down with rain when we came out and most of way home!

I do believe that the manufacturers have had there day and have become very greedy. I’m guessing that the sales of motorhomes and caravans was poor at this show for the very reason there prices are so high..

Hi Rob and lynn.. Those miner statues at horse fair in rugeley,we’re for the surrounding pits. Especially leahall Colliery in rugeley.. Also horse fair was famous for its horse sales many moons ago.. This is were dick Turpin stole his horse Black Bess.. Then rode of to the village of abbots Bromley and stayed in the famous PH the goats inn..

Another great VLOG with a quick view around the NEC. I saw some people in tent boxes whilst going around Spain; fine if the weather is good but bloody useless if it is chucking it down. You need a largish car as well to carry everything else that you need. Ideal for fit young blokes, but not, in my opinion, one for the ladies.
