That Pillar catch is probably the best one. Not just a jump, but a climb as well.

+Riley G Kiermier. Idk if you watch the Blue Jays much, but for every two AMAZING catches Pillar makes, there's a bonehead mistake/slight error on the next one. Human highlight reel, I'm not sure about the Gold Glove. Didn't use that good arm of his that much this year too if i remember correctly. My two cents.

I don't understand why base runners sprint down the bases when its a homer. I mean, if its gone, you are free to just jog, theres no gain from sprinting. just wait near the bag and see if its gone or caught. they should add this to practice
@mattatherton13239 жыл бұрын
I actually do play baseball.and, you should treat it like any fly ball, go about half distance, and if they don't catch it, go. its smart baserunning.
@Beltran15x9 жыл бұрын
ALG32705 Again, play the game first. That is not true at all!!! Your gonna just sit there on a ball in the gap? No your not. A ball hit to the wall isn't going to be caught unless its a mile in there air. Remember Endy Chavez catch? If Scott Rolen didn't get doubled up then its either a bad throw or piss poor base running. If the ball looks like it's gonna drop they you put yourself in positiontion to score once it does.
@mattatherton13239 жыл бұрын
did you not see the double plays because of poor baserunning? also, like previously stated, I do play baseball. a smart base runner treats a home run like a far fly ball, you go to a safe distance, wait for it to play out, and make a decision on whgat to do when the ball is either caught, hits the ground, or is out of the park
@jacksoe35309 жыл бұрын
Beltran15x Your logic is moronic.
@Beltran15x9 жыл бұрын
matt atherton A far fly ball is a far fly ball. You can tell when a ball is going to the wall. You can tell when the only play they make is going to be a low percentage one. You guys obviously don't understand. A high fly ball to warning track to totally not what I am talking about. I am talking about the ball that was hit on Endy Chavez's play. You're gonna tell me your just gonna stand half way? BS, Scott Rolen tried to score on a ball that had a 95% of falling.
