More antics from the lovely town of Hawes and we pop over to Leyburn where we get robbed in an antiques shop buying something which is no more of an antique than Dan. A feast of traditional sweets end the day as we stuff our faces yet again.

Love Black Jacks, didn't realise they were still made. Used to come with Fruit Salad ones too. Best thing of my last trip to Hawes was parking was free. Paid 50p to park in a bay too small for my car, then found £1 in the coin tray of the parking machine, made my day. Ironic with the local MP being the Chancellor :o)

'Baccy' used to be sold in packets and was called Sweet Tobacco back in the 50's in Haworth. Would not be socially acceptable to use that name any more, just like the packets of Candy Cigarettes :( Wonderful nostalgia ..

Oh my goodness. Memories. I used to live in Richmond. Would regularly drive out to Leyburn . Most delicious Wensleydale cheese. Used to get aniseed twists in that sweetie shop 🥰😍 So jealous guys.

Those small chocolate toffee chewy sweets Dan are called monkey nuts. I'm sure that's what they are called as I used to love them as a kid. I think that's an appropriate name for you with your monkey stuff lately! Don't know if you know but you can overnight at Aysgarth Falls but it's £12 which is a bit expensive but the falls are great.
