Always love a good Sammy story! I bought a autographed picture from him and it's one of my prized possessions. Hanging on the wall just a few feet from me. People say he embellishes his stories and maybe some of it is, maybe it's not. Either way, he's a great storyteller and if they're not 100% accurate, there's some bits of truth in there otherwise he wouldn't have had the government on his ass. Anyway, keep up the good work Mark. It's so great to have an interviewer that knows when to be quiet and when to talk. If someone is closed off, you are able to open them up. If not, you don't really interject and you just let them talk. Such a departure from someone like Jimmy Fallon or someone who has to put themselves in the center of the story. I love to see interviews where the interview is about the interviewee and not some guy saying "Oh man, yeah I totally relate! I got into trouble when I was younger too!"

I think everyone’s life story is interesting and as diverse as they are individually different. Everyone has a story some good some bad. If someone told you a disturbing part of their life would you judge them the same? Regardless of their profession. You could judge us military members the same for what we do but since it’s something you side with it wouldn’t be a problem. Look at it like this who we fight against would say the same as you, because it is from their perspective.
