Sounds so meaningful to me, yet makes me want to cry. Its like the sound of meeting God

Makes me nostalgic for a time that may or may not have ever existed.

perfectly written. no better way to describe the feeling he creates.

Jacob Kyle Can we also say Hiraeth in this case? Or it's only for the nostalgia of a place that never existed?

Abe Simpson had a good quote about that, courting Marge's mother... "You know, you remind me of a poem I can't remember, and a song that may never have existed, and a place I've never been to." Very, very sweet sentiments in those first ten years.

I saw Basho play at Stanford University with William Ackerman and Alex DeGrassi. It was a magical evening. I have always found this album among my very favorites, but I lost my copy and have not found another since. What a pleasure to know I can hear it here!

I've not felt such a mystical feeling since Van Morrison's Astral Weeks... Like the artist is one with the universe for a few minutes. This is celestial, nature music.
