I don’t blame Cecilia for turning on her family after they believed Briony. After everything Robbie did for them, after SAVING THE TWINS, they believe he would do something like that?? Yeah, if I were her, I’d cut ties with them too.

I havent read the book, and i know I definitely should, but one question that has always crossed my mind is, How did Cecilia live with her family after this?? How did she face her Monster of a little sister after what she's done??? Given, i know there was nothing a woman Could do in those times, but still! The whole House would've been up in flames had I been her!

Cecelia left her family after the war broke out. She cut contact with all of them. She told Robbie this in the movie as well.

i never get this part:: so, that's Robbie's mom running at the police car. with the umbrella. but who is she calling a "liar"? the police? Cecelia? The Father and Mother of Cecelia and Briony? {she can't be calling ROBBIE a liar... since he's her son/ the one being arrested... so... who is she yelling at?} and, uhm... why is she holding an umbrella {haha} ???
