The light hums because it's an older fluorescent light. Those tend to hum. No way to really fix it other than replacing it.

Yeah just replace the bulb and it will hum for a minute while warming up then stop the old ones hum all the time

A retrofit would allow him to reuse the housing, but if he'd like to have a better looking and smaller fixture, just replace with a plug and play fixture from Home Depot. If you do a retrofit, some models require a ballast and some don't. Either type are easy to install. Regardless, T12s are very inefficient. Source: I'm an electrician

Here's an idea: whenever you film a video about the civic, the intro should be the civic starting up. If you film a video about the BRZ, the intro should be the BRZ starting up. Same goes for the 240. Simply put, you should make the intro to the video you will film about said car that car starting up.

You can take some blue Duplicolor spray paint and paint the pedal covers a metal blue to match the rest of the interior.

Those lights tend to make that noise my grandfathers work shop has those lights and its been humming since I was 8 and I'm 25 now its something you grow to get use to and then when its no longer making that noise it'll drive you insane 😂😂😂

Its not so much a terrible light as is the ballast powering the light is going bad. Either replace it or get some leds with built in drivers, pretty cheap and easy to do yourself

I live in California, specifically where the Carr fire is and the air quality is horrible. The fire hit the city and it sounded like bombs were dropping because of propane tanks exploding, it looked like a post-apocalyptic movie here and I already know a ton of people that have moved out of the city. Let's hope that nothing like that happens in that area because the mountains look beautiful.

hope your CX kit works better than mine did, i bought one of their kits for my 240 and had to basically redo all the piping myself because nothing fit correctly, also even though they claim you need no tune expect to have to get an ECU and a tune because my 240 will barely even idle once its all installed so i definitely need a tune

you shouldbuy LED Light they exist in those neon shapes, they are offered in a variety of lightning power(brighter or smoother) and you can take some that are pure white not like kinda white but with a yellow tint on these neon also, they cost less electricity and more importantly for you, they don't make any sound :)
