Very nice video Robbie, thanks for sharing. That big cod was swimming full tilt the second it left your hand. Air walking all the way down to the water. I like that drone footage at the end. It will be great to see some hook ups and landings from that sort of angle if you can do it.

@robbiefishing what size lures are you using 60mm 75mm? that's what gets me in the skinny water is the size to use. using OarGee as an example. the 60mm dives to 3.6m where as the 75mm is essentially double.

Hi mate, don't stress about the depth that the lure dives. Most of them hit the bottom in skinny water anyway. I have even cast full size stumpumpers in these small spots. Lures around 80mm seem to be my favourite but don't be scared to go bigger. In my next cod video next week, my friend Don y is casting a 90mm in the same spot.

Thanks so much mate. My OB cod is 98cm on a Number 1 stumpjumper. That's a really hard question. Probably redfin. I live catching redfin. Catching a decent sized redfin always gives me a real buzz.

Hey Robbie... Another cracking video.... Could be longer....just saying😅... I went down to the Murray yesterday and caught 4 cod biggest at 54cm... Strange I had no bites on cheese or worms, so I caught some shrimp of which worked a treat...

When you miss a photo opportunity but have the fish on video, just take a still from that footage when you're editing Robbie - can certainly do it with GoPro, not sure about your action camera though. Great session!
