Great video Robbie, that bloc looks stunning! PS a video on how you setup and use an abseil for working boulders would be sick!

Not all sandstone gets brittle when wet. The southern sandstone in the southern US is one such type, absolutely bullet rock.
@RobbiePhillips2 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah? I’ve not heard of that before. I think by definition any rock type that can can contain moisture would probably weaken somewhat in the wet. I am of course speaking with no authority on the matter whatsoever 😂 only from what I’ve seen and heard from climbers and geologists. Maybe we can find a climbing geologist on here to help us?

this is one of those problems that looks easy, and then you actually touch it and try to move up and you cant.
@RobbiePhillips2 жыл бұрын
haha yeah totally! In fact... when I did it, it felt really easy 😂 And I do think that on a cold dry day, for someonelse, it will feel easy. Who knows, it may even get downgraded? But my experience was the battle with the weather, and humidity, and all that stuff :P Thats whats fun about climbing... everyone has a different experience
