@@middle-agedclimber haha yeah the St Kildans were incredible! makes me wonder what amazing feats were achieved by humans all over the world long before us! This is the kind of climbing video I like to see. Very good quality. You guys did put a lot of work into this video. Some more Nature shots would have been great as this environment is so different to what I am used to. Also amazing to still se someone not use some clickbait in the title. With evereyone else it had to be something like: Climbing the hardest most remote Seastack in Europe
@RobbiePhillips11 күн бұрын
Haha well maybe complain to the camera guys, I used every nature shot I had :P To be honest with you, there was very little nature we could capture... we were climbing outside of the major bird nesting season (on purpose), so there were not many birds on the cliffs... just a few fulmars here and there. Gannets are on Boreray and Stac an Armin/Stac Lee, not where we were. There were no seals that we could see... I was on Pabbay this September and we got lots of seal footage, so you can look forward to that film in 2025 :) We did get some footage of the Soay sheep though, so that was cool. Re clickbait... well, it works! I don't have a problem with clickbait if it spells out whats in the film. I just don't like it when it's bending the truth, or just a plain lie. I try and make sure the title and thumbnail combined give a good illustration of what to expect, and ultimately I want as many people to see this film as possible, so if I have to use a wee bit clickbait, I will.
