I used ordinary shoe fat on my Royals and rubbed them with an microfiber towel. That Works just fine and the glitter goes away instantly. The glitter has not come back.

To remove the Jordan 1 *sparkle* just get a Crep wipe or a warm damp towel and wipe the shoe down.

They treat the leather with a chemical so it doesn't decay(it is skin from a living thing), but due to its very low quality, the fibers are far apart causing the chemical to seep through and react with the paint causing the glitter. It wipes off easily though. This was the most valid reason I heard, could be total dog food.

I don't know why that happens to Jordan 1s but I do know a little bit of water on a micro fiber or just a soft towel takes it right off with no damage. I also know that it always comes back.

Use crep wipes to get the glitter off it works well. The glitter is something they use to treat the leather

You can get the glitter off by cleaning it up once every week or so, it‘ll dissapear over time if you don‘t out them back in the box

I’ve heard the glitter effect is from the anti-mold spray they put on the leather during the finishing process. A damp cloth should take it right off. It’s common in 2015-2016 release Jordan 1’s. Something that helps me, as I’ve noticed glitter on my breds and royals, is putting them in the 1 gallon zip lock bags. I keep all my Jordan’s in my basement, in the bags, in their original box. I’ve seen a decrease in the glitter effect 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hi Tom I had the same glitters on my AJ1 Bred from 2016, but it’s quite easy to get rid of them. First off you need to clean the shoes a bit like with a sneaker wipe. Then since your shoes are in leather which in the end is basically a skin you should rehydrate them. My advice : buy make up coton pads girls use and body hydrate cream. Then apply it on the shoes, make sure to make the leather absorbe it and then let it dry. Not only it will take off the glittering part but also it will give a nice vintage look and vivid colors to your sneakers ;) I tested it and it works perfect ! Otherwise keep up the good work I watch your videos from France and enjoy them 👌🏻👌🏻
