I’ve been a Pod Save America and Lovett or Leave It listener for years and literally only started watching Survivor because Lovett was on it. The thought of him roughing it was hilarious, and I knew he’d bring a lot of character and personality. I binged all the new era seasons in preparation for him being on it. I started listening to old episodes of RHAP to get insight into everything. I was so excited for last night for months. And then I was quite frankly devastated when it all went down. I never expected him to win, but I also never expected him to go first. And for Andy?! Dude is a walking liability. I don’t know how you don’t get rid of him immediately. Lovett deserves another chance. He would have been so entertaining as a cash member and perfect for confessionals. I really hope they bring him back and he uses the knowledge he gained that he talked about in this interview. I’m probably going to watch the rest of the season but as a binge right before the finale. I’m just too disappointed to watch right now

I’m wondering if Jeff made Jon (and maybe even Aysha) a possible target because he singled him out to share-and that tipped others off to the communication strength that he possessed. His tribemates didn’t know off the bat that he was a famous podcaster. I don’t think his tribe saw him as that weak physically. I do think they saw him as a huge threat as the game progressed, and it seemed to me that Jeff helped them see him in that way.

someone explain to me the logic in voting for andy to stay when “they need physical strength”, when these have been the challenge results: gata last to return puzzle pieces (physical task) but jumps to first in the mental part of the first comp in the second comp, we see similar results as gata capsizes, which causes andy to go into panic induced overheating.. while jon is one of the only people solving the puzzle. all that to say im dumbfounded that they thought keeping someone as unstable as andy…
