Adam James Rogers Somebody did a corrosion test and it turns out they tend to corrode at the same rate. Don't buy into corrosion resistant strings.

LukeBass1000 Actually, if you watch enough of Rob's videos, you will notice that he slides back to a first position E major using fingers 2, 3, and 4 all the time. If you are switching between barre chords and first position, depending on the situation, this can be a more efficient way of placing the fingers. I don't think Rob was cheating....

These blindfold episode are really entertaining! I like how Rebea picked all strat shaped guitars to make it harder, and feeling the hardware was restricted to make it harder still. I think it would be cool to see a little series where it's the same deal, except different shapes. Do a show with a bunch of different Les Paul shaped guitars, explorer's, V's, maybe a show with all semi hollows... Keep it up guys! I love watching your vids!!

When I clicked the video, that's what I expected/hoped, especially due to "All the gear" in the title. I think having ~4 different categories and having them each guess approximately what rank in least to most expensive, and a reasonable price for the perceived quality of OD, reverb, delay etc, would make for an incredible video.

Damn, Captain cheated again!!! He touched headstock on Jackson and made assumption about it being Ibanez. Previous time Captain could tell which line of (PRS If I remember right) by touching controlls, if knobs are all the same than ok. And Chapman can recognize his guitars as he did!

Request: Do a wood challenge. Get strats/squiers/copies at various price points, but with nice setups and fret jobs and pots, and use identical pickups, and see if the wood makes a difference. For example: Standard Squier with agathis, Deluxe Squier with basswood, American Fender with alder, and two other brands. Also identical amps and identical decibels.

Good test you two. I always have fun watching you get nervous over whether you're wrong or not. :) We don't think any less of you two if you get 'em wrong. Don't worry! I think you'd have to play them [each] for a long period of time (like Chap said he's done for some of them) to remember a specific shape and feel. If you're picking one up and then putting it down 5 minutes later, it'll be hard to remember when you're so used to picking up 30+ other guitars throughout the day. I want to see you two guess on *SOUND ONLY*. Someone else will have to play them and you guess, while another writes your responses down, then when that's done, they plug the guitars into another amp and you both do the whole feel, play and and sound guesses for the second round. :)

Haha Lee is always so full of shit in these videos XD When Rabea brought in the Jackson and Chappers said it was the bolt on "profile" that gave it away. Lee right away said that He didn't feel that cus he didn't want to cheat. WTF! Here's a suggestion. The Zoom MS-100BT vs the real versions of the pedals. So a real tube screamer Vs the Zoom, expensive reverb pedal Vs Zoom, etc.

Brian Jewell if they compare the sound then they could have seen not much difference but the comparison was mostly based on the feel of luxury product .with right amp/pickup setup you can make a $200 guitar sound like $ 4000

The only thing that bugs me a little is that you guys recognize things like the neck profile - which doesn't in itself suggest you can tell the difference in tone and build quality. Not that you necessarily can't, but Chappers got the Jackson from the bolt on and the Ibanez from the neck profile: I kind of want videos that are more based on "Which sounds better" and "Which feels highest quality" rather than specifics like those.
