i live in France and they had Lizarazu and Barthez on a sports show and they talked about that goal ... they both said that when they went back to the dressing room, everyone was looking at each other like "wtf was that, what just happened ? " barthez said he thought it was out than it curved back in... " what was i supposed to there ? how was i supposed to stop that ? " .... they were all in awe of that shot

As a fan of real Madrid i can tell he was the best left defender they had. Around 5'4-5'5 his shots were bombs. I Think he also shot the most goals of all defenders.
