Good to see you Robert ! I was wanting to tell you that hides for Martin , are vary high in Alaska ,and linx still vary high ,and Wolverines are vary expensive ! I don’t know if you can ship such things but you should look into that , I think your getting took advantage of there my friend , Just a thought , I love grouse hunting to and yes plucking while warm is vary good !

i did my first grouse hunt this year, hit a few but i was never ever able to recover them. Still too green i think., they camoflauge too well. Maybe ccome back and try later in the season when the trees are more yellow, easier to spot. I had huge trouble locating them after i shot them. I could tell i hit them because feathers would go flying .. they use that last bit of life energy to make a move where i cant find them. Any tips for this? @robert badine

Good hunt, we have to use a shotgun, so I use a .410. Glad to see you use the whole bird, so many just take the breast and throw the rest. Poor old timers used them like pigeons, even if they took the lesser portions and made soup. Have you ever made a Burgoo?

He had explained in a previous video that a lot of people do that, but that there is still more to the chicken that gets wasted. And he was saying if you pluck them fresh is easier. I'm going to try plucking them this fall if i get some.
