For some reason this interview makes me also appreciate the film more afterwards and now 'The Witch' is deffo on my next to watch list. The way he spoke on it and broke it down was just fascinating and as a film lover (also one day hoping to be future filmmaker) was so damn interesting and informative).

1000% on board with him. Any movie project with that human would be such a trip! Highly technical and yet very organic....

I absolutely LOVED The Vvitch, It has become a holiday mainstay. I bought five of them for my family and friends. I trust this man to make great films.

So far, Lighthouse is my favorite of his films. But the Vikings film is gonna be spectacular. I very anxious to see it.

He's got quite a resume already at such a young age. 3/3 hits is pretty damn good. Remarkable.

Looking forward to this Viking thing he’s doing hopefully it’s closer in tone to the Witch. I liked the language and style of Lighthouse but it was a little goofy for me. Either way I really appreciate his uncompromising nature and obsessive attention to historical detail happy to inhabit the planet at the same time and see him branch out as a creator

The Witch was just too REAL for me to watch. You know that this sort of thing actually happened to people. Everyone turning on each other as their imaginations take hold. That kind of horror, I just can't do.

His movies are alright. He’s clearly not a very good writer. Sounds like he just reads old books and steals from them and writes the script as he goes. Seems like an aimless way of making a movie and not surprisingly his movies are totally aimless.
