Many occultists are quite sensitive about this and he was probably upset at his misunderstanding of the lore, it is silly to think this was something they just told the kids to get them to behave when many women and men died as a result of these paranoias.

How is Mark NOT the usual host? He's a natural. I love interviewers who really get the work, ask smart questions, and can articulate the effect the piece had on them. It's a pleasure to watch. The artist perks up out of rote mode. He also expertly handles Eggers' defensiveness over a question.

He's just an enormous hipster douche that made a good film, nothing more. Every interview he gives proves it. Major props to Mark though, handled it like the professional that he is.
@DavidVasquez-lb9xv5 жыл бұрын
Satyr agreed. That was really pretentious of him to be like “tHaTs PrIvAtE” like dude you have one of the only decent interviewers giving you great questions and an excellent platform to talk about your personal feelings and how that affected the passion that went into the project and he just seemed like he was holding back because his nose was in the air looking down on people who aren’t him. Great movie, moderately condescending creator
@jackxiao97024 жыл бұрын
He obviously doesn't believe in Witches. But he wanted you to sympathize with Puritans who really had those fears. I think Eggards is probably Christian and was pissed at the "Opiate of the Masses" remark, which I get, it is a condescending statement by Mao, a pretty violent anti-religious communist.
