belíssima canção do filme "Ao Sul do Pacífico". No filme, o ator Rossano Brazzi era dublado por Giorgio Tozzi. ROBERT GOULET, que ouvimos aqui, fez sensação na Broadway com "CAMELOT" e fez alguns filmes. ROBERT GOULET was revealed in CAMELOT, 1960....made some movies...Was a great singer, wonderful voice. This song, as you know, is from the musical SOUTH PACIFIC.

I should add that I did enjoy hearing the French accent. It fits the role better, as we know. (Not to deny take away anything from the beautiful vocal qualities of Pinza [original Broadway] and Tozzi [sang in the movie while Brazzi acted].)

This company with Goulet was the first time that I heard Emile singing with a French instead of an Italian accent. (Although he sang it more smoothly in my memory from a few years before.) Interesting change.
