Yes I was thinking the same thing as far as views. It makes me wonder how many people are RG fans and how many of them are the breakfast club fans or both? I for one is here for the one and only Robert Greene. I have all his books, they are like the Bible to me. Also happy to hear he recovered quite well from his stroke. I couldn’t imagine RG not being here speaking and writing today.

In the beginning, he’s basically talking about shadow work. Embracing yourself in your totality, the ‘good’ and the ‘bad’ - light and dark and not labeling it but feeling it all.
@blondelefant21193 жыл бұрын
This so on point with me right now... For the past year, ive been really connecting and getting to know that formally unknown dark side of myself....doing this shadow work I feel like my whole being, talents, and emotional understanding is elevating to new levels.... I'm starting to see the secrets of the universe

@@blondelefant2119 what kind of work? Any examples?
@blondelefant21193 жыл бұрын
@@malikr2271 Follow your heart and own your deep desires despite of what society says otherwise. Sit at the table with those "demons" and have a conversation. Get to know them. Dont judge them ever...You don't have to be friends, but be aquanted to your shadow visitor. Every part of yourself wants to be heard regardless what the world tells you...ride that dragon! It's not always cute, but you got get dirty and remove all pre conceived notions of how it "should" be. It can seem wild, or even preverse...but ultimately it's you! No judgement! Set your intention before going into the ritual...When you begin to understand those aspects of yourself...that monster in the closet reveals itself to only be just an old shoe box...its necessary for a seed to push through the darkness of the earth to reach the light of the sun.
@blondelefant21193 жыл бұрын
@@malikr2271 the shadow or dark side simply means "unknown" shrouded in fear. Remove the fear, and get into the "knowing" of what is true for you and soon you will be able to OWN those aspects of yourself so when those feelings arise again, you will know which "demon" or aspect of yourself is speaking...when you embrace and understand it, you now have the power to acknowledge it instead of standing there in an angry or fearful state and process your emotions to how you see fit...instead of being a pawn in the chess game of life, you begin to be the player...anytime you see yourself being a pawn in a situation controlled by your emotions, bring it back and become the player..this takes time and a conscience decision to do the work, but if you are looking to have full mastery of self, you will do it. Hope this helps!
