Greenidge is a soloist who actually plays the Pan; listen to his touch...no banging. Excellent!

This a de maestro, as Gospel p[an man said not only his touch, his attitude towards the paling any song, even his two solo cds, as explicitly recorded and played . I am fed up listening to all the fake pan men and women, who have to have music stands in front of them trying to look like a professional horn section reading notes, and you do not even look at the dam thing, you are just posing til closin. Real panists, memorise their parts , and look at their conductor, if they have one, otherwise you learn you parts and heart and play the dam things by heart. I used is version of stardust to illustrate the magnificent instrument that it is, but used and by cultures who just bang their pans…. Listen to the MAESTRO , AND YOU MIGHT JUST LEARN THAT A PAN IS LIKE A GOOD WOMAN, YOU STROKE HER, YOU DONT FORCE HER.
