So strange for me to have decided to search for this performance today after so many years and to find that this artist has passed. To me this was one of the greatest Apollo performances. Has the audience ever sat there so transfixed with as much respect to catching every single note? RIP

@MiuraPen I Began my journey in pan. I was a player of Sonatas Steel Orchestra in Brooklyn N.Y. where i was taught by Ken "Pro" Philmore. He is as great as a friend as he is a musical genius. Gotta Luv this guy!!!!!!

Ibecame familiar with the PROFESSOR at Fonclaire some years. ago.He is one of the most ,down to earth Panman..Human ..being.I had ever met in my life. GONE to SOON.if there is a heaven.He 'll be there LOVE MY BROTHER

For those of you who are in the know, I’m pretty sure Professor played on an Invader style lead and not a 4ths and 5ths style. Always impressed how he could play with such passion!!! 🙌
