I'm a very strong catholic, however I really appreciate this wonderful man. Out of all the evangelist this man was the best, he put them all to shame, God bless u Robert, I just took my stepmother and dad to the airport and on the way up I mentioned how I liked Robert Shuler, today I went to get a pot at the good will store I looked through the books and I pulled a Bible out it was a crystal cathedral Bible or Robert Shuler, I went up to pay and this nice lady paid for my stuff. I just had a feeling to watch this as it's been such a long time. Im in my 50s now and in my 20s, the Hour of Power was something I loved so much n even longed for. I used to love the positive preaching, scientific insights, the singing, the big plants everywhere n how the Sunday morning Sunshine would flood in everywhere through all the glass. I also used to love how they gave the cutest little gifts to you when you donate etc. Pastor Schullers sons are great n do a great job too, but this Minister was just unique. RIP Pastor Schuller.

The sunshine, oh yes. I remember one time I was watching and it was a cloudy day, which made it look gloomy. Even the lights inside couldn't dispel the gray. Then like a pray was answered and before the service ended. Out came the bright sun. God showing his light onto the world and its people. I was 15 when Hour of Power started airing. It helped me through good times and bad times even my darkest days. We were blest to have him. He was the longest running televangelist, and survived, when many pastors and their ministries fell apart for one reason or another. Yes, we were truly blessed.

I LOVED this man. High Hope's for his son, Bobby! Seems to me he's been groomed for this his whole life! I remember when he was sitting in the background, in the family seats. I have just read Dr. Schuller's biography and he was a simply a good man of the people. Both he and his wife have left a legacy for faith and for peace. He taught people how to behave and treat one another decently and how to be leaders in not only in your community but in the world. A profit for the good and helped promote good mental health with his religious devotion. He was both refreshing, spiritual and a blessing to those who heard his words.

I met Robert Schuller at a fund raiser. My pastor, Dr Jess Moody, introduced me to him. Dr Moody told me Robert Schuller was a personal friend of his, so I was delighted when Dr Moody brought him to me to introduce us. I asked him for permission to ask a question, and he said, "You most certainly may." I asked him, "are you a born-again Christian?" He answered with a big grin and a chuckle, "I most certainly am!" He turned to Dr Moody and said, "I like this guy HE's a real ball of fire!" Dr Moody said, "he certainly is." I was VERY impressed with Robert Schuller. I say, "Phooey" to those who didn't appreciate or approve of his style of ministry. He said once, " I don't always preach the gospel from the pulpit. But I draw people to come to see me in person, and they don't leave my church before a Navigator (evangelist) greets them and shares the gospel with them."

I became a Christian because of Dr. Schuller. He had this "soft sell" approach. I remember I started listening to Dr. Robert Schuller in the 1980's, before that I only knew Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker, both who I thought were crooked con artists. When I was comfortable with Dr. Schuller, I wound up listening to Billy Graham, Chuck Swindoll, Adrian Rogers, and many other preachers. I guess God uses different preachers for different people.

Look we are sinners, we repent many times, have accepted Christ and don't have to be told time after time we are going to hell. God is of love (Grace) who forgives (Mercy) us. In 1997, Billy Graham gave an interview with Robert Schuller of the Crystal Cathedral, where Graham said you could get saved without Jesus. Here is an excerpt: Robert Schuller: “Tell me, what do you think of the future of Christianity?” Billy Graham: “I think everybody who knows Christ, whether they’re conscious of it or not, they’re members of the Body of Christ…God’s purpose is to call out a people for His name, whether they come from the Muslim world, Buddhist world, the Christian world, or the non-believing world, they are members of the Body of Christ, because they’ve been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus…and I think they are saved, and that they are going to be in heaven with us.” Billy Graham said that it “makes no difference” what church you belong to, none at all. He places no difference between a fundamental Baptist church, the Catholic Church, or the Mormon church. Robert Schuller (overjoyed): “What I hear you saying is that it’s possible for Jesus Christ to come into human hearts and soul and life even if they’ve been born into darkness and never had exposure to the Bible. Is that a correct interpretation of what you are saying?” Billy Graham: “Yes it is, because I believe that. I’ve met people in various parts of the world…that have never seen a Bible or heard about a Bible, and never heard of Jesus, but they’ve believed in their hearts that there was a God.”

I hope you have recognized that you are a sinner like I have recognized and that you have asked Jesus into your life to forgive you and to lead you away from sin into His marvelous light, so that you are saved from hell and have access to heaven. I believe the Rapture is really soon so we need to be ready and to warn others that Jesus is coming and after the Rapture, there will be 7 years of a tribulation period as taught in the book of Revelation.
