Amazing that Robert Iler is 39 years old. Just for context, James Gandolfini was 37 or 38 when the Sopranos pilot episode was being filmed.

@@andreimadasov4955 Yes. I was "way' off. Point is; Robert Iler is older now than Gandolfini was when the pilot was filmed. Just an observation to point out how much time has passed since the show aired.

Your scene when you tried to kill your self in the pool broke me to my core when I watched it, and was a pivotal moment in my life that made me realize things weren’t alright in my life. Getting help now with a therapist to work my issues, but AJs life was a lot like mine

I could see myself getting into alcohol and drugs being young and famous and a millionaire by your early 20's. Running around NYC and then Vegas after the show ended having money to blow and not really having to work or do anything. I think he was mostly acting like an average college aged kid just with money and fame. He hasn't had much of a career since the show ended but he has been in some advertisements and that Sopranos car ad that ran during the Superbowl a few years ago likely netted him a million or two I'd guess I certainly don't feel bad for him but I think he is just being real in these interviews. If I were him I would have taken a shot with Jamie though back in the day if I was out drinking with her. I'm not a celebrity crush type of guy but she just really has something. Lol

You know it's cool that he did that as a kid, but you can't spend the rest of your life staring back and looking backwards at something. He doesn't have a career. He's sitting here where the show is ended almost 20 years ago and he has nothing to show for it except that. So give him all the praise in the world but slow it down man. Slow your roll. You really aren't doing anything except talking about the past. It's okay to remember the past, just don't stare at it
