There is SUCH a huge body of research we personally have filmed on location over 12 U.S. states that show mind-boggling facts about correlations that support the Book of Mormon as a true history of Ancient America. Native Americans know they are Hebrew. European Jews also seem to know our Native Americans are Hebrew. ROBERT KAY IS Hebrew, a learned Jew and understands "the ways of the Jews" as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There is NO WAY "uneducated" Joseph Smith could have known things about Nahom in the Mideast (mentioned in the Book of Mormon, which now is a proven location). He couldn't have known about the uncovered city of Beit Lehi, that aligns with Lehi circa 600 BC, a contemporary of the prophet Jeremiah. UVU students (Utah Valley Univ.) have been helping with that dig, which is touted as one of the greatest finds in Israel's history. It was covered up during Joseph's lifetime! He could not have known WHY certain Isaiah chapters were important to include (Refer to www.IsaiahInstitute.com and IsaiahExplained.com for more about correlations in the Book of Mormon from perhaps the top Isaiah scholar in the world!) in his translation of those chapters, and all of Isaiah's prophecies correlate with an End-time scenario described in detail in the Book of Mormon. Coincidence? NOT A CHANCE! Here are a few others: How could Joseph have known about Adam and Eve in the Garden here in America, where Noah launched the Arc (from the same area), and the other great civilizations that existed here before? NOW, we know there are over 1 million mounds east of the Mississippi, and Adam and Eve's time aligns archaeologically with the Clovis Culture! The Jaredites align with the time of the Adena Culture (look them up on Wikipedia, and see all the additional links to museums with millions of artifacts there). The NEphites align with the Hopewell Civilization, which built the largest pyramid in the world east of St. Louis, called Cahokia. The largest outdoor TEMPLE COMPLEX in the world is at the Newark Earthworks, with a great Circle and the whole aerial view shows us the whole PLAN OF SALVATION. Could that be where Jesus Christ appeared to the Nephites in the Book of Mormon? Why do Native Americans still visit there every year as one of their most sacred sites? We have filmed all that with our drone, over 12 states at sites that include every one of those massive Civilizations! And there is more (there is ALWAYS MORE!): How could Joseph know about silk and linens for the Book of Mormon peoples? There are whole presentations that go through grains, animals, plants etc. mentioned in the Book of Mormon, with pictures, and histories of horses, elephants, the silk MOTH (yes, found here in North America, NOT Central or South America). They are technical presentations in great detail. And, the Book of Mormon says that they kept the Law of Moses strictly. That meant there HAD to be lambs/sheep/vineyards for wine/and especially BARLEY (the first fruits). Those are only found in the Heart of America...the United States. They did NOT exist below our current borders, because of the climate needed to grow vineyards (a hard winter). Show any archaeology which shows those items south of Texas, N.M. or AZ. HOW WOULD JOSEPH KNOW ANY OF THAT? He didn't. He told the truth, and translated an accurate record from the DNA accurate Northeastern Tribes of Native Americans. Their DNA (not the Southwestern tribes) align with the Ashkenazi Jews from the Mideast, which is one of the purest bloodlines in the world. People can refute all they want. When my husband passed away, he came back to retrieve his part of our souls... we were one in our souls or soulmates... I saw this in literal reality.. as I watched him pull at what I thought as my soul, and watched him rip his part of our soul into two pieces.. the oneness was amazing... he then told me I would be coming to him soon... so when you were speaking about the Elohim was both male and female, I totally understand that..

I believe on many things they are opening understanding... but there is a fine line here outlined by Jacob 4:14 that tells us that we should be careful... and first seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness... before seeking the mysteries..

Here is a list of questions that an honest seeker of truth might raise: • Is there a single reference-just one-in Joseph’s journals or written correspondence suggesting he might have read or had conversations concerning any of these historical sources before translating the Book of Mormon? • Is there any evidence he visited the libraries where these books were supposedly located? • Did Emma Smith, who was married to him, ever comment that he referred to any of these books before the Book of Mormon was translated? • Is there any record that he had any of these books present when he translated the Book of Mormon? Do the critics expect us to believe that Joseph searched out and studied all these resources on Native American life; inhaled the related conversations on the topic; winnowed out the irrelevant; organized the remainder into an intricate story involving hundreds of characters, numerous locations, and detailed war strategies; and then dictated it with perfect recollection, without any notes whatsoever-no outline, no three-by-five cards, nothing-a fact acknowledged even among the critics?30 And during it all, no one remembered him going to these libraries, bringing any such books home, having any conversations concerning this research, or making any diary entries to the same. Where, I ask you, is the hard evidence? Where Did Joseph Get the Doctrine? Emma Smith gave the following testimony, as reported by her son Joseph Smith III: My belief is that the Book of Mormon is of divine authenticity-I have not the slightest doubt of it. I am satisfied that no man could have dictated the writing of the manuscripts unless he was inspired; for, when acting as his scribe, your father would dictate to me hour after hour; and when returning after meals, or after interruptions, he would at once begin where he had left off, without either seeing the manuscript or having any portion of it read to him. This was a usual thing for him to do. It would have been improbable that a learned man could do this; and, for one so ignorant and unlearned as he was, it was simply impossible.

Good point...as well as the writings of Isaiah, Daniel, and all the "sealed" portions of holy writ. They were INTENDED to be sealed until the Latter-day times when the prophecies would be fulfilled. John the Revelator and Nephi also alluded to these times, saying things like "the Spirit stops my utterance." But then, Nephi goes on to quote Isaiah, who DID tell what Nephi was commanded NOT to say again. :) Hope that helps.

This past year as we have been posting the stories of D&C, and the early Church, and the apostates who persecuted Joseph, some of them, his best friends who swore to defend him to the end, really offered some poignant moments of sad irony for what is going on in the world, and especially, locally in circles of friends or family. It's very sad, but the silver lining always is that we get to draw closer to the Savior, and like one friend said to us, "When we give everything to the Lord, there is nothing left for the adversary to take." That has helped us a lot, because Satan will never have that power that comes from choosing truth. ;)

The Liahona was a piece of the Temple furniture described in the Bible. It was designed by the deputy architect Aholiab. The name "Aholiab" means "Fathers Tent" Nephi uses the words "Father" and "Tent" in the same verse he introduces the Liahona. The man giving this presentation calls your attention to that phrase but doesn't make the connection to Aholiab. Aholiab is described in the Bible as a "Curious" workman. He is also described as working with brass. The Liahona is the "compass" of the altar described in Exodus 27:5. Lehi builds an altar at the same river camp where he received the Liahona. The presenter says the Liahona is a symbol for the Tree of Life. Lehi is given instructions to journey towards the Tree of Life right before he receives the Liahona.

You are the first person I have come across to make that connection too. The Liahona is a symbol for the Tree of life and the account of Lehi and Nephi's vision is in regard to journeying or ascending the Tree of Life. It is also an instrument connected with many astronomical bodies above. Where we see that phrase "And My Father dwelt in a Tent" is a prophetic marker that we are being directed to connect the teaching there with the Tabernacle and The Tree of Life! Great Observation. Thank you for sharing. I am so glad to hear others out there asking, seeking, and knocking.

I was introduced to some of these concepts in a book called “The Wisdom in the Hebrew Alphabet” by Rabbi Munk. Picking up insights by looking at names and places as you mentioned in your presentation. Yet, without some guidance or direction I feel my efforts are not as effective as they could be. This isn’t a topic in Sunday School or even Institute Classes. How to progress? Example Teancum as a person and place name. Taan thrust through (2943 in Strongs) and Quwm decree/remain (6965 Strongs) describes what the man does and also the penalty to the city. I think I am on the right track, yet I am not trained in Hebrew and it is somewhat a best guess. Looking for guidance. A fellow servant.

Very interesting. But I’m curious. When you read the Book of Mormon from this kabbalistic perspective do you view it as more stories that have deeper meaning or would you still maintain that the stories really physically happened? Also seeing as Jesus Christ is not the accepted messiah among the Jews how would you view the references to him in the Book of Mormon? Is Mormonism just a combination of Christianity and Jewish Kabbalah? Was Jesus Christ included in the Book of Mormon just to get Christian’s onboard with Mormonism? Thanks

32:45 So tower of Babel construction was to restore something ancient to THEM? With idols? Gobekli Tepi in Turkey fits that description. Wikipedia uses the words "Girê Mirazan" to describe. Gobekli Tepi is said to be the world's oldest temple and also has some star gazing things drawing attention to a particular constellation. "Gateway to Heaven?" Hmm.

To my friend that sent this to me. "I have read all of 2 Nephi 27 and skimmed the rest of his presentation Part 1. If Robert Kay had obeyed the Savior's commandment to search Isaiah he would recognize that in 2 Nephi 27:6-7 Nephi writes 6. And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall bring forth unto you the words of a book, and they shall be the words of them which have slumbered. 7. And behold the book shall be sealed; and in the book shall be a revelation from God, from the beginning of the world to the ending thereof. David, that is not the Book of Mormon, it is the Book of Isaiah!!!! It is a prophesy of the end time or last days if connected to the Book of Revelation . Now if he does not repent, what will he say at his judgement? Personal belief he may have, but when he publishes his research that leads readers astray, like Judy Stoddard is doing with her teaching that the 6th seal has opened because she has not search Isaiah, how will they answer. When is the Servant who is marred, healed and then ordained and sealed that opens the 6th seal and sends the 144,000 to gather the righteous (D&C 77:11, Isaiah 57:1-2). We must be very aware of Satan's clever deceptions: he is truly a master. My opinion is that in 2nd Nephi he was reading Isaiah from the Brass Plates of Laban between 559 to 545BC, according to BOM chronology. The commandment to search Isaiah dates from 34AD right after Jesus was resurrected. It became effective for us in 1830 when Joseph published the BOM. We cannot afford to ignore a commandment given in our time. I am to Isaiah 20 on my own re-reading assignment."

Actually Spalding was aware of that as well and it was being taught by John Smith at Dartmouth college prior to Joseph Smith. It was a theory and speculation until the discovery of the Naghamaddi.

This makes more sense now as a fictional book with connections to the Bible. Joseph Smith was on another level then most people.

Fiction can also be in the beholder...until they "get" the truth. Example: a great scientist may never believe he/she is all that great, when they realize the more they expand their "knowledge" and experience base, the more they realize they DON'T know. And none of us know what we don't know, until we DO. Joseph Smith could never have known all the facts about ancient animals, plants (like mentioning silk, or linens, when the research shows and PROVES those things were here in North America). How about elephants, DNA, and a miriad of other things? Concerning "elephants" for example, archaeologists have been discussing whether they should be "reintroduced" to N. American, because they were here anciently. Look at the Ohio Museum of Natural History in Columbus, OH. He could not have known Hebrew or "chiasmus" (an ancient form of poetic literacy and patterning). There are literally thousands of things, like names, and root words that he wasn't even educated to know about, yet, there they are, "hidden" in plain site for all to read. Someday, every person will have the opportunity to know the truth for themselves, as Joseph did. Just like there is a Bible Code, and endless proofs of God's word there, the Book of Mormon is replete with spiritual treasure that has changed the world for good. Why would you put yourself in opposition to self-evident good, and all that was sacrificed anciently and in our day, to bless the world with a book that mentions Jesus Christ and his attributes, more than any other book on the planet? Check out Jonathan Cahn’s books The Harbinger and The Harbinger II. He’s a Messianic Jew and correlates current events to biblical prophecies. It’s fascinating. After reading the above books, I can see better how the Book of Mormon can have both actually happened and be so correlated to the Bible. The same thing is happening now.

One very simple answer: God is the Source of The Word. God *breathed it to two people on separate parts of the world. God has all power and all knowledge. God can do this.

@@jameswinesgreenspunjhs8954 Most Christians see what they think is Nephi quoting Paul as a "proof" that the Book of Mormon was copied. Yet, we Jews can take Paul apart for doing the same thing in quoting other teachers, sages, and parables to forming portions of his Letters. It's like many of the parables of Christ. They were not unique and in fact his hearers would have been very familiar with many of the parables as they existed prior to him. For me that Nephi and Paul teach similar teachings and use similar phrases demonstrates not only the validity of Paul as a Jew and student of Gamliel, but also that the teachings were much older than Paul and were had prior to even Nephi. This is not uncommon among jewish student's, sages, rabbis, etc etc.

No, it’s not like the word couple, it’s like the word sheep. It can be plural or singular depending on the context. For example “That sheep is over there by himself” vs “the sheep are standing together in a field.” As someone who has studied Hebrew for over a year now , it’s one of the very first words you learn and the concept is not that difficult.

The word ‘God’ isn’t used in ANY of the original scriptures/sacred text to refer to Yahweh, Elohim or Yeshua. The term “god” was the original term used in English (Old English) for the Germanic gods, such as Woden (the Norse Odin), Thunor (Thunder, the Norse Thor), and so on.

He didn’t say we aren’t Christians. He says we’re not considered by traditional teachings to come from Christianity because Christianity came from Catholicism and Protestantism whereas Mormonism came from the teachings and writings of the Jews. So by tradition we are more messianic Jewish traditional than traditional Christianity
