We all know Kraft will give his boy another year. Kraft doesn't care. Season ticket waiting list.. 6 rings ... young wife...massage parlors. ...mayo is horrible..he can't do a game plan. He can't do half-time adjustments ..he rats out his coaches. He is totally lost. Give him 2 years or 5 years he is clueless in over his head. 39 year season ticket holder... I am done this year ..we will be the new jets of the AFC. I feel bad for Drake.

The fact that Mayo scape goats the only coach on the team that has shown any improvement in his area on the field is all you need to know. He’s a self preserving snake, unqualified and if the Pats don’t make a change personally paying attention next season. This team is horrific outside of the improvements in Maye’s understanding of NFL QB play, which is AVP’s accomplishment.

I have no problem with blaming Mayo. But I think after BB, the Krafts and everybody near the top said, we want a collaborative HC, not a dictator (even a great dictator). And none of them, from the Krafts on down, knows how to do that. Because for 20 years they did something else.

I wouldn’t be in favor of moving off of Mayo but for the fact that there are better alternatives available. I like the idea of bringing in Dimitrov too. I like AVP. I think he’s done the best job out of all of them, but if you could secure McDaniels long term…..these are no-brainer decisions. If you want to be a CEO HC, you got to earn that. You have to know that everything that is going on is going to work. Mayo’s not doing that year 1, and maybe never.

The only way to do this is to gut the whole front office and coaching staff from top to bottom. Wolf has to go. They need to convince an experienced GM with connections around the league to come here and rebuild from the ground up. He needs to pick his own coaches and player personnel people. And let them pick the players this whole thing was orchestrated on a cocktail napkin and it shows

Alex Van Pelt is a bonafied OC he has done it for multiple teams and is the most experienced coach on the staff. He has absolutely nothing to work with outside of Drake Maye. Was he able to have any input as to who his position coaches would be? There is a reason every candidate before AVP turned the gig down. No young up and comer is going to risk his first shot at a coordinator job working underneath a stooge like Mayo. They were actually fortunate that a coach with the credentials of Van Pelt took this awful job

We the majority of fans think Mayo is a snake and a mediocre HC. This can't continue, they will waste Maye's rookie contract, no good free agents or coordinators will come here to play or coach for Jerod Mayo or Eliot Wolf. Agreed. They have to admit they totally screwed up the transfer from BB because they did. Fire Wolf and Mayo for starters. Get Vrabel and Josh, or Daboll or Rees. Get a seasoned DC. Have Vrabel pick his GM. Shake up the entire org. Find new people to evaluate talent. The present staff is awful at it.

Stop crying Pats fans. We have had 20 good years, now 5 pretty crappy years. The slide started awhile ago, and here we are with limited talent, out of touch coaches and leadership. We are going to suck for awhile until we draft intelligently, and get coaches that really understand the talent we have- not much. It is going to take time. Get a decent O line. Get a line that can a least block a bunch a ballerinas. Start there please. Get some receivers who can run routes, catch the ball, and can understand the playbook. In the old days, when we were good, we had some very intelligent football players. They weren't stupid. Today, I wonder. Now, let's addresses coaches- how many out there are really any good? Most, like in all sports are recycled packages. They are not all that great. Very few Shula's, Landry's and Belichick's out there. If there is, why would they want to coach in Foxboro? Just a few ideas to ponder. I love the Pats, but Get used to losing for awhile. I hate it, but it is what it is. Just my thoughts.

Unless the team obviously quits during the last 3 games, all of which should be significant losses by much better teams, Mayo should get a 2nd year. His staff must be placed under a microscope. Especially DC, WR and OL coaches. AVP should get a 2nd season with Maye, who he has developed.

As of 12/19/2024, the Patriots pick 1/3, 2/39, 3/70, 3/80. Every 2025 NFL Mock Draft has the Patriots taking CB/WR Travis Hunter at 1/3. I would use 1/3 Travis Hunter as trade bait to trade back into 1st round and gain a high 2nd round pick this year. @patriotsdynasty4866 You can't get both OT and WR in the 2025 draft. This isn't a good WR draft. The most important thing for a young QB's development is a good Offensive line. You get WR's in Free Agency. No team allows good OT's to leave in Free Agency. Tee Higgins is Patriots number 1 Free Agent target.
