My paternal grandmother was welsh. My father said he could speak welsh before he could speak english (he was born in Canada). I want to get over there some time and connect with my heritage and distant relatives who still live there.

Still blows my mind that in my lifetime, I was able to play with both these cats (among lots of others) but it's funny how we take things for granted while they're happening in our lives and then once you reach a certain age you suddenly realize how beautiful and magical your whole life has been....until of course 2020 happened and EVERYTHING that came with it.

I met Plant in the early 90s when he came into a diner in my hometown . He was driving from Cincinnati to Louisville on tour , and he told us the area reminded him of his home in England . I can see now why . It definitely looks similar to the woods around the Ohio Valley

Glad to hear RP talk of some of the fascinating history of Wales. Such a shame that it remains ignored by many especially film makers. The stories of Llywelyn einLlyw Olaf and Owain Glyndwr and countless other princes and great warriors should have been the subject of a blockbuster by now!

Midlands meets north east, amazing amount of music made between the two bands involved, the thing that surprises me the most is how soft spoken Robert is and how rough Brian sounds, it's not even north v south, it's just mind blowing how many hours of listening to both of them sing have lasted me a lifetime and it continues, the game has gone into extra time and it is that exciting, none of us wants this to end.............😃♥️

Seems like Robert does a lot of countryside walking around the world. A family friend of ours, while he was honeymooning in the bahamas a while back, ran headlong into him walking back from the beach... Wish I could just randomly bump into Robert on one of my walks

Plant's vacation cottage Bron-Yr-Aur, where several LZ songs were composed, is just outside Machynlleth at the south border of Snowdonia Nat'l Park. Mt. Snowden, called Eryri in Welsh, is 30 miles north. I had the pleasure of taking the summit train from Llanberis in 2018, unforgettable...

(Closing Song) Tangerine... absolutely one of their greatest ballad's. Jimmy gives the solo a yearning that evokes so much emotion. Love your series Brian, you and the boy's were my very first concert at at Madison Square Garden NY in 1981, when I was 14, 8th row on the floor my ears literally rang for three days. We were in front of a WALL of amps.
