That's awesome. I met Angus, Malcolm, and Phil after a gig in New Jersey back in 2000. Got autographs and photos...very nice guys. Angus and Phil were pretty quiet but cordial. Malcolm was the most outgoing of the three and asked me how the band sounded. I was like, "Uhhh...great??" I was just shocked he was asking ME how THEY sounded. I thought that was the coolest, humblest thing. We saw Brian get on the bus, but he just waved to everyone. I read later that he's not a big fan of giving out autographs because they usually just end up on eBay, and I really can't blame him because some of those professional autograph seekers are horribly obnoxious.

@@keefriff99 People like that ruin it for everyone else. I've always had the feeling these guys are very down to Earth, and are genuinely nice guys. Phil may be the only exception. It really is hard not to be a fan of Dolly. Even if you're not a country music fan. She is the real deal. Talented as hell, great writer, singer, and player. And to top it off, a genuinely kind and generous person. A true rarity in the music industry. It's unfortunate, but they don't make em' like that anymore.

@@PsyphaX09 Meh, just a different style of music. But both her and her band are phenomenal live. Her cover of Stairway was pretty amazing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKjCdKKam5dshtk&ab_channel=CharmedHourHauntedSong25 I mean, it's tough to not like Dolly for her talent alone. The woman has written over 3000 songs, over 100 of them have charted, and over 25 have gone number one. On top of that, she plays 20 instruments, most of them VERY well. Just a sick talent through and through. Not to mention the woman having a heart of gold and being a very active philanthropist.

This is absolutely true. You either love music or you don't. If you're locked into just a single genre and can't appreciate anything else, then you aren't interested in music, you're interested in a certain lifestyle. True musicians are fans of music, all kinds, and take influences from everywhere.

Dolly Parton and others have said that Australians 🇦🇺 are so much like Americans 🇺🇸, Dolly said it’s like we’re cousins or brothers and sisters across the ocean 🌊!!!! Which if you think of the regions of the UK 🇬🇧 that most of us were sent out of both to Australia 🇦🇺 and American 🇺🇸 (colonies at the time), we are from the same stock/line of people!!!!! Just a joy of a interview and Dolly has said what a good time they had and how natural their conversation was even after the recording was over!!!!!

Both of them look incredible and especially for their age. Brian Johnson is one of if not the youngest looking (and sounding) 73 year old men I have ever seen and heard. ....and Dolly Parton is 75. That is freaking incredible. I know that she doesn't hide the fact that she has had surgery to stay ahead of the aging process. But you can still tell how old someone is, even if they have had facial work, in most cases. But she looks fantastic and especially when you acknowledge the fact that she is 75 freaking years old.

Lovely to see the mutual respect. Even if Dolly Parton's music is not to your personal taste, you have absolutely GOT to respect the career and the body of work.

In these clips, Brian come off as that generous and gentle uncle that everyone loves, and you totally forget he's the lead singer of AC/DC. There are other Rock stars who are nice and humble off stage, but they are always "ON" when a camera is in them. With Brian, you realize he's just a normal guy and think to yourself "this is me mate, Brian" even if you've never met him

I remember watching this on TV. Probably the best year of my life. Kind of sad circumstance though. At least he is back with the band. Fingers crossed he can perform along with the rest of AC/DC soon. Despite this virus. One way or another I’m going to see them. I will wear five masks. But I’m going to see them I don’t give a damn what anyone says. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a little girl living in the south. When I first heard black ice. Of course I knew them before black ice came out it’s just the one that sparked the love because I know that album holds a special place in my heart because that is the last one with Malcolm physically on it. I know he is on the other albums But he is not here physically obviously. That’s why it is such a special album.

@@ACDCguy96 Unfortunately I was a child when that tour was going on. My brother offered to take me but we couldn’t afford it at the time. A tornado had hit our house and we had to sell the tickets to get money to repair it. But I would love to have seen them in Columbia. South Carolina. A few years ago my house burnt down and now I am stuck in Southern Ohio. I don’t like winter weather but this is all I have. So I remember going to the wreckage of the house and I looked down where my room used to be and I see two CDs still intact. One was black in black the other one was black ice. So I saved them.

@@ACDCguy96 I know that Malcolm would want me to pursue my dream I know I did not talk about it in a music career honestly. Even though he didn’t know me. He would want me to be the best female rock guitarist I could ever be just like my dad would have. My dad wanted to be a guitar player. He was offered a record deal but unfortunately cancer took him last year. Ironically and sadly on Malcolm’s birthday.

When music was made by real people with talent...so glad that we still have Dolly and Brian making music..not just the manufactured, autotuned ‘stars’ that gets fed as music to the kids today. As an Aussie who grew up with amazing Bon Scott era AC/DC, I have huge respect for Brian, he had to fill some pretty big shoes and he not only did credit to Bon, he took AC/DC up into the stratosphere. Deep respect to both these artists, Dolly and Brian.
