The idea that Africa couldn't develop and innovate and hadn't been doing so before white people, is steeped in racist assumptions and ignoring much of history, not to mention seeing black people as an investment, as property, that white people are entitled to whose "worth" was increased through white people's "help", as if the people couldn't choose for themselves what they want and don't want. It rings of "animals on my farm are happier than on other farms because I manage them better".
@pansepot149011 ай бұрын
That’s out of sheer ignorance of history. When the Romans started their conquest Europe was populated by tribes of “savages” that didn’t even have invented writing. The famed advanced Scandinavians descend from Vikings that were illiterate up until a thousand years ago and only built wooden huts. The very Romans (whose culture originated from the near East) were just a village of savage goat herders when civilizations who built masterpieces of architecture, cities, works of art, wrote books and started science, rose and waned in the Fertile Crescent for at least a couple of millennia. Seems obvious that it’s a complex set of environmental/social/historical/whatever conditions that drives the emergence of civilizations and not any “racial” superiority. If aliens had visited earth 2500 years ago and looked around at the technological development of humans they would have found that the white Europeans were among the most primitive and therefore one of the the dumbest races.
@villageidiot574411 ай бұрын
It's actually not steeped in those assumptions. There's an entire field of historical academics about using geography and climate to explain Africa's lack of development before the Europeans arrived. They mainly blame lack of domesticatable pack animals, few easily navigable rivers, and few sheltered inland seas. Guns Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond is probably the best example of a book making this point.
@creamygoodness231011 ай бұрын
@villageidiot5744The problem with that argument is that it's based around money. When they say development that's what they always mean in the fine print. Take native americans and how they're viewed by the colonials and even modern day racists. Assuming they were savages and drunkards and such. When in reality they were had it right along about how to live on this planet as every other living thing on this planet does. THey knew about balance. They knew you didn't shit where you eat/sleep, you don't take more than need no matter how much you want, and you respect what's around you. That's not to say that they didn't to barbaric things out of misunderstandings. But to assume a civilization is undeveloped means you have formed a basis on how it should have progressed and that automatically comes with bias and inflated ego. Just because you think someone is underdeveloped doesn't mean it's not that way by choice/design. But it's always the people who want/crave power and influence that press what they fell what should be on others because they think they know best. And history shows they rarely do.

The way I see it is that people have some physical differences, but not a single one of them makes anyone stop being human. the single most extreme physiological change that exists between different groups of people, mostly as a result of partial isolation, is just where fat tends to accumulate (Staetophygia) however, that's literally it. skin color is a pigment change, which isn't even entirely related to genetics, and while certain groups of people are more prone to a set of illnesses, the actual total range is negligible enough that the concept of race ties more into nationality. Ethnicity exists. "race" does not. it's like how here in Malta, most lizards are green (parks). some are grey(concrete), others are orange(cliffs with immature soil) because of where they live. pigment change resulting in color due to minor separation, though not true isolation. i.e. what also happened with people. past that, there's maybe minor structural differences, like more prominent facial features, different stance and maybe height differences. but that's getting into hair-splitting minutia that runs the risk of contextlessly, appearing as either a really deeply autistic (non-derogatory) anthropologist, or the next reincarnation of the Mage-Christ of the Klu Klux Klan who wears a hat with two points rather than 1 it's genuinely negligible biological difference and the majority of racism is more about culture, trying to spin it as being innately biological, which is fucking bullshit. what little difference that exists in Man resulting in so many unique characteristics amongst Sapiens Sapiens is frankly a marvel. I can't get why people being different is so offensive to so many. what's even funnier is that racism has gotten bad enough that it's actually causing more groups of people to exist, see ashkenazi ethnic groups being slightly inbred, resulting in a barely above negligibly higher chance of gastrointestinal illnesses. conclusion, Robert Sepehr should change his name to robbed Septic tank

Atlantis stuff always blows my mind because of how clear we can trace its history to like, a rhetorical device, a philosophical story presented to help convey a point. A thing barely anyone thought was literally real, and the people who actually knew Plato were like "It's a rhetorical device, it's not even conveyed as history, but as part of a story where someone *else* talks about it in it"... Also, do these people remember that, in it, the Atlantean culture was like... Greek, but inferior to Athens, and, in the end, destroyed by Athenian's *ground forces* before whatever disaster happened to their homeland? Like, "Oh yeah, it was this world spanning super civilization but also lost a bid to conquer Greece to Athens solo." They have to play reallllly fast and loose with what they even provincially accept as true from the original source, which is... A real bad start.

Oh my God! Thank you so much for posting this video, as well as your other videos on Sepehr! And here is why… Honestly, I felt like I was crazy. Sepehr randomly appeared on my feed one day, and his videos had some very interesting titles. So I figured, “damn! This must be straight up my alley!” So I started to watch, assuming I would be educated whilst being entertained at the same time. Instead, what I have found (after what always seems like a 45 minute opening sequence of Sepehr just walking around, talking about himself) is literally one, big, run-on sentence about things kind of orbiting around the alleged topic of the video, but without any real substance whatsoever. He literally just tosses out his opinion for an hour or more. And then tries to back it up with other people’s opinions that are the same as his without any real factual information. Basically, he just talks. And not even about anything that is in the least bit impressive. He literally just talks for the shear sake of hearing himself talk. And then I am like, “wait… why was I watching this again? What was the original thesis here?” I have literally never learned a single thing from any of Sepehr’s videos except that he is probably a narcissistic crazy person. And yeah, he jumps around A LOT. In other words, I feel like listening to Sepehr is kinda like reading one of those flyers that crazy homeless people in NYC make photocopies of, and then pass out on the subway. You know… the ones that are crammed full of incoherent, handwritten sentences… sometimes going sideways in the margins of the page, literally filling up every square inch. No punctuation, no capitalization, poor spelling, and most of all… absolutely no cohesive thought process whatsoever. Anyway, thank you for allowing me to discover your channel. Thank’s to you, I now know that I am not crazy when it comes to Robert Sepehr. He is.

Sepher bases alot of his shit off of the esotericism of the Landig Circle who are the ones that started the Nazi UFO myths, Nazi Vril myths, using the Black Sun as a substitute symbol for the Nazi Swastika, etc. It's not original at all. And many in the Landig Circle were SS including the founder Wilhelm Landig "Landig was a former SS member who revived the ariosophical mythology of Thule. He was born on 20 December 1909.[2] He wrote the Thule trilogy Götzen gegen Thule (1971), Wolfszeit um Thule (1980) and Rebellen für Thule - Das Erbe von Atlantis (1991). He inspired the idea of the Black Sun, a substitute swastika and mythical source of energy, which was launched in the 1991 novel Die Schwarze Sonne von Tashi Lhunpo by ghostwriter Russell McCloud.[4]" Sepher is a crypto Nazi fanboy, and ironically he is also part Jewish 🤷

@@whatabouttheearth well that certainly explains a lot in the sense that I’ve totally been duped, lol. I mean his videos do come off as if he knows what he is talking about… if you don’t pay attention too closely. But I guess the scary part is that he actually does know what he’s talking about, but it’s all cryptic bullshit. And yeah, the very last thing you said is actually quite hysterical! I’m also just going to add a personal a jab here for no other reason other than to be mean… once I saw him closeup…dude would certainly never win a beauty contest. Lol. Just saying.

I had no idea there were grown men who believed in Atlantis outside of a movie theater showing a comic book movie. Besides, hasn't it been pretty well established that Plato's story refers to an island in the Mediterranean Sea?
@jameshart262211 ай бұрын
I mean, Plato's allegory of Atlantis was fictional. Always was, always will be. The more serious folks who talk about it bring up possible historical analogs as inspiration, sources for ideas that he folded into his parable. The story itself is ahistorical.
@Sableagle11 ай бұрын
It was fiction and allegory, but I've seen a couple of candidate locations: Minoan civilisation on Crete, wiped out by the tsunami from the Santorini kablooie, and some shallow spot west of Gibraltar that would have been an island at some point in the past.

More recently is the theory that the Richat Structure -- the Eye of the Sahara -- was the city of Atlantis, as popularized on Jimmy Corsetti's [sp?] "Bright Insight" channel on KZbin. It has a lot going for it, though it hasn't convinced everybody. The theory intrigues me, but my favorite (and probably untrue) interpretation of the Atlantis legend is the one put forth by Rand & Rose Flem-Ath, that half of the continent of Antarctica was once straddling the South Temperate Zone & Antarctic Circle before an 'Earth Crust Displacement' event shifted it entirely inside the Antarctic Circle ~ 12,500 years ago. Now THAT is a wild-ass theory -- and most probably wrong -- which geophysicists undoubtedly don't believe to be possible, the shifting of the Earth's crust cataclysmically . . . but there's a part of me that digs imagining something like that happening. For what it's worth, when Charles Hapgood suggested such a thing as having happened several times throughout ancient prehistorical times, Einstein himself didn't dismiss it as a possibility -- which is ONE reason I still don't 100% dismiss the outlandish notion. The Flem-Aths believe that the lost city of Atlantis is located beneath the ice somewhere near where Palmer Peninsula joins the main body of Antarctica. The Richat Structure has the benefit of being located above sea level, and its ringed structure sure is reminiscent of Plato's description, though . . .

@@EthelredHardrede-nz8yvThe Richat structure definitely exists. Whether or not it is the remnant of the ancient circular city of Atlantis, though, is a matter of debate.

@@henriquepacheco7473 Already edited that bit out. But in all seriousness the more I looked into the mindset of this cult for lack of a better word, the more I see that this is most likely all part of a covert psyop to undermine our society. We've seen it with the Wedge strategy by Discovery Institute to the First Church of Atheism & of course self loathing cult leaders like Mr. Sepehr himself. @@henriquepacheco7473EDIT; I already edited that out for the last time. Hopefully that helps as what we're ultimately dealing with is something of a covert psyop of a cult bent on destroying our way of thinking as shown from the Discovery Institute's Wedge Strategy to the First Church of Atheism & so on. Didn't that very same paper that Robert Sepehr tried using to imply all sub-Saharan Africans were "20% Homo erectus or Homo habilis" also state that Eurasians (tested populations were the French and Han Chinese) also share some of this ancestry, albeit less by default?

You know, when you started talking about how Sepehr believes that Cro-Magnon spread across the globe in ships and interbred with other homo species, I knew exactly where it was going: Atlantis. This dude 100% got his ideas from Graham Hancock, and possibly even some ideas from Erich von Daniken because the whole idea that humans originating from “lesser races” interbreeding with a “superior race” sounds very similar to the alien hybrid ideas that ancient astronaut theorists spout.
