Being vegan and being pretentious/smug in character are two separate things. Just look at Johnny Marr; complete different and down to earth vegan compared to Morrissey. That is why I can't tolerate Morrissey's personality, though I like The Smith's music. I'm vegan and I am completely team Robert Smith and The Cure. Rob is just more humble. Loads of them I spotted, very clever....there is also at 1:24 a very subtle nod to The Smiths support band (and Morrissey favourites) back then JAMES - the way their singer Tim Booth wobbles his head when he dances - and when he was bald back then and is bald right now. The fact that Moz lost all his hair and then started to impersonate Tim Booth dancing before dropping 'dead' is just hilarious!

Very well done David. A brilliantly humorous piece of animation of two of my favourite artists who have had 'beef' or 'quorn' 😁 in the case of Mozzer for many years. I particularly liked the ' flames rose to her roman nose and her hearing aid started to melt' part of the film. Personally I think both Robert and Morrissey would like this homage although I think Mozzer would pretend he didn't. I could be wrong though🤔 Please do some more as the world really needs to see your work and so do I. 🙄❤

Morrissey has a great voice IMO, and is an interesting character, but apart from "how soon is now" i don't love any of his music. The Cure on the other hand have one of the most interesting catalogs of any pop/rock artist ever. Robert Smith forever.

I suppose the thing is that they had different influences: the Smiths are much more old-school 60s-style rock/pop. How Soon Is Now is a bit of an outlier in that case, but if you're still interested some of the songs off of Strangeways, Here We Come are a little like it.
