By chance, I just opened up Audible after watching this, and saw Robert's book is now out in audiobook form. It's read by Olivia Coleman too, which is pretty awesome and feels appropriate. PS. I don't work for Audible, Robert, or Rich, just thought I'd point this out. PPS. I am willing to work for either Audible, Robert, or Rich, as long as it's reasonably well paid and doesn't involve me doing too much.

Butterflies was a childhood favourite ( looking at the broadcast dates what a crazy and rebellious teenager I was watching sitcoms about bored housewives...) but I only realised very recently that the theme music is a cover of a Dolly Parton song. Everyone else knew I bet. Wendy Craig ( star of Butterflies , keep up...) on RHLSTP would be great; she got her CBE this year at 85 and said she intended to keep working. Had a lot of roles in comedies, she’d fit right in.

Anyone who's seen Crocodile Dundee knows that the crocodile would drag you down to the bottom and trap you under a rock to tenderise, so it's Lose-Lose. Although it does now occur to me that the lava would mean there would likely be no rocks to be tenderised under, so the joke's on the crocodile after all.
@philipellis70394 жыл бұрын
20thCenturyPox I’m fairly sure the fumes and the heat kill before the lava even gets to you. So, if you think you have better lung capacity and heat resistance than a crocodile might be worth the gamble.

TBH I didn't know Robert Webb although the name was vaguely familiar - probably from the Mitchell & Webb thingy (something else I haven't seen, only seen references to it) - but he seems a funny bloke and I do like RKH so... Anyway the comments about "the book" and the storyline really intrigued so I bought the ebook and am looking forward to reading it.

100% on plotted in advance, because you instantly know that this guy who suddenly appears at a point when we need a new character is going to be character archetype 4, sub type 2. Of course Rich would remember Readers Wives as his weapon of choice was Fiesta. Didn't Doc Cox write a song about it?

Hi Richard, There is a benefit to not being able to visualise things: When Robert describe his heart surgery I had a horrible gory image in my head and I could "feel" the saw. It made me very queasy. Great conversation :-)
